This place is the best soul food spot I’ve ever been to in the DFW area and I’ve been to plenty of places. The food is so good and seasoned just right. Customer service is awesome and the restaurant is very clean with a New Orleans vibe and music. I had the turkey necks with cabbage and Mac n cheese as my sides the flavor was on point. I’m definitely going to be coming back to try more items on the menu.
5/5 for customer service and the mac n cheese! This 2 pc. fried chicken plate was about $12. Reasonable prices and good food.
The Catfish, macaroni, smothered turkey necks and rice, yams, cabbage and red beans was GREAT????
Wow wow and wow….. the food was sooooo good I’m about to pass out from eatting it….i was so Skeptical about trying it out but it was the best decision I made and was amazing, they have found a new customer…… I will be returning here and you should come try it out as well…. The staff was very friendly and the portions were huge I mean huge…. I was half way done with my plate and I was stuffed like a turkey on thanksgiving day…. I had the oxtail and the Mac and cheese was fire (that means good)
I have been searching all over for some good quality food. I must say I have found it! The customer service was great and the food was even better! My first time trying this spot and I’m already ready to go back tomorrow!
OMGosh! This food was so good!! I loved everything. We had the catfish and it was seasoned so good and fried perfect. The oxtails was on point and tender! The gumbo was spicy!
It took 40 minutes for food. I took 6 minutes off for placing my order. Ribs- tasty, mac and cheese -ok, best tasting baked beans, great potato salad.It was overall delicious ?. I haven't decided whether I would return. Friendly server.Latest update, 4/12 $22.00 for Oxtail dinner. Only twenty minutes The oxtails were tender and tasty.
First timer here visiting from Austin. The staff was kind and friendly. Very clean and well maintained. Oh yeah and the food... Delish . Definitely will be back next time I'm in town.
Wow, I’m so glad I found this on google. I see why the owner call it the right recipe, because she definitely has it! The oxtails was soooo flavorful. I got my food 30 mins before it closed and the food was still amazing, warm and just all around A+! The portions are so big. I also got the rib plate too. Great great hospitality and customer service. One more thing that signature strawberry lemonade whew. So good.
