Great place for quick and good quality sushi. I like thier tuna tower as they have clever way to pack it.
Local, Quiet and fast serving sushi spot. The Heart Attack appetizer was not spicy at all but I'm guessing that changes depending on the jalapenos at the time. We ordered the HaKo, Temptation, and Lion King rolls. These were all very tasty but lion king was not spicy either. They have board games you can play while you dine. We had a fun time playing checkers. Service was fast. Great overall value! Spent less than $60 with tip included. Laura was friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back and try more!
Just ordered through Grubhub and picked up $70 worth of food. Lots to say but to keep it short, it would be my first and last time for this place. Sushi was okay at best. The quality is like the ones from grocery stores. Bland taste, no freshness what so ever and it has some weird taste to it really. Hibach… I got steak Hibach and it was a joke. No way near to the word Hibach… poor quality, stale, had zero taste. I really wanted to like this place since it is close to my house but no … never again.
I strongly recommend SUBEN. I lived in Japan for a few years and I can be very picky when it comes to eating sushi. They make the best sushi, and it tastes amazing. My family’s favorite restaurant. Must try place to eat in Carrollton.
Absolutely some of the best sushi in the Carrollton area! We like to try different sushi spots around N. Dallas and this one happens to be around the corner from us. This spot has taken our #1 fav ranking from all our fav sushi spots around. Def more of a take-out place but flavor is on par with any fancy restaurant.
Been looking for a new sushi spot since we moved to carrollton over the past 2 years. Suben opened up and I am forever going here for my Carrollton hood sushi fix!!! Amazing fresh sushi, great roll combinations, and favor is spot on! Get the cry baby, salmon wrap and angry wife and you won’t be disappointed:)
I have never eaten ANYWHERE (a restaurant) and served on paper plates! The customer service was great and I would have given more stars based on 2 rolls I loved. But the paper plates is what did it. Not all of our food came out this way but all our rolls did but one. We spent almost $100 between 3 adults and 2 kids. Paper plates.... smh
Excellent sushi and rolls! This is my to go place when I crave for sushi. Food always fresh and friendly staff. I was never disappointed.
I love this place been going here since it opened and I bring everyone I know here. If you are in town you gotta get food form here.
Suben is a small, simple sushi restaurant with good sushi. I had the Yellowtail Tornado Tempura and Robo-Roll and they were really good. They are about as spicy as you would expect.Not very crowded at lunch on Wednesday. There are full dividers at the register and food prep area and tables are wiped down between customers. The staff was very friendly.
