Not my favorite hot pot place to eat. The server was rude and demanded a 15% tip. I'll stick with Happy Lamb instead.
Attentive server that was knowledgeable about the menu and individual meats, extremely helpful with preparation questions since it was our first time having hot pot. The selection of items at the cold bar are great, and the sauce station to mix your own sauce was diverse. They have ice cream for free if you feel up to it after a delicious meal. The spicy broth is the way to go, beef check and sirloin are tasty!
Super thin slices so you I had to order over 10 trays to get full. The waitstaff didn't come around often so I had to flag them down. Gratuity is added to the bill without the customer's notification.
Pick your soup base and up to 3 meats to start, then you go to the salad bar to get everything else to go into your hot pot. Come.back to your table and cook it yourself. Pretty good. Nice for conversation while your waiting on your hotpot to cook down.
I frequent this place often and always have a pleasant experience. I enjoy the many options on the cold station since I don’t have a preference for the meat options.I knocked off one star because the hostess turned the elevator off and we had to use the steps when we were done with our meal. It’s upsetting because the hostess knew that we used the elevator to go upstairs because she greeted us when we were at the bottom of the steps on our arrival. On their website, it says that the business is wheelchair accessible. Although none of us were using a wheelchair, one of us had a pulmonary issue, one had a hip issue and another had ankle issues. It’s ignorant to believe that only visual cues signal a disability.
I have been dining here occasionally for the past 3 years and I love it! Once you get the hang of using the sauces and how to use the ingredients to season your broth it is an amazing experience! I always feel like I get my money’s work when I go!
We went around 4pm and it was a very nice atmosphere. The meat the brought out had a great color and tasted better. I liked that They cared about hygiene and etc. Will have to wear mask and gloves when picking food. The house spicy special sauce was great! The ice cream was nice a rich with not watered down taste. I really liked the Chinese base. And nice cold rice wine to go with the hotpot on that cold day. Worth the price but be sure not to waste food because you will be charged!but all in all Perfect!
Uhm...what should I said...1.) The soup it's bland but it's good if you know how to put things together and add seasonal (salt and soy sauce) will make it taste better.2.) It's healthy3.) Missing hot oil and fermented soybean for dipping sauce4) The waitress she was great 5 stars ⭐ for her.5.) This place I believe in how you make your own dipping sauce, that'll make your food taste better.
Very friendly and nice staffs. The place was very nice and clean but the food sucked. It was not at all good, drinks were very over priced.I was there with my friends and we only ordered one order from the all you can eat menu which we couldn’t even finish it.
The food is good but service is really bad. We came yesterday in a group of 4. They arranged us in a room and nobody really came to check on us or even asked us if we want to order more meat. Eventually, we can only order 5 rounds of meat (3 dishes each round), which was not justified with what we paid for ($28+).Also, the weird thing is that when we asked the server about which sauce she would recommend us, she literally said "sorry I'm busy" and that was it. No recommendation or anything at all. And they automatically charged 15% tip on us. I don't know how they can charge that much tip with that bad services. Never come back to this place again!!
