Simple menu, delicious options! A great comfort food place. My go to is the jajangmyeon and gochu jjamppong, definitely shareable dishes unless you can really eat (they charge for togo boxes $ 0.50).

Food itself is pretty good. I can't speak for other dishes but spicy jjamppong is 4 out of 5. Not sure if it's a city problem but there is a sewage smell inside the restaurant. Not a smell you want to smell while eating. Also, the tables need to be cleaned better after usage. Few times I've been there, tables are sticky.

This restaurant was our favorite restaurant in Carrollton. Unfortunately during the pandemic, this restaurant's key menu, Tangsuyuk, is significantly getting worse in its quality and quantity. We visited here in December 2021 and today (May 2022). Disappointed. What happened?

Paik's has a really small and simple menu. I got the jajangmeyon which is their popular dish and pretty good. Can't say they are the best but I would eat here again and try some of the other noodle dishes.

Jajjangmyeon was delicious and full of umami. The noodles are thick and chewy, well cooked and not soggy at all. My meal came with pickled radish and my noodles were topped with peas, although I was hoping for cucumber. I’ll know where to go for jajjangmyeon next time I’m in Carrollton!

Few menus options tells you something. That they are experts at it. Though this place does not have many options their noodles are really good.

We’ve been wanting to eat here for the longest time but keep forgetting that they’re closed on Tuesdays! LOL.We finally got a table today, and this place on a Sunday was hoppin’, the tables stayed full. We ordered Jajangmyeon, Bokkeummyeon, Gunmandu and Tangsuyuk… all soooo good and exceeding expectations. ❤️❤️❤️The service was fast and friendly too??

Guys, the Jajangmyeon isn't that good. Speaking from a Chinese perspective, my Mom makes it a thousand times better. Yes, this is "Korean-style", but the recipe is originally Chinese. And the one time I went here to try it, there was literally soup at the bottom of the bowl. This ain't a soup dish guys. But everyone else seems to love it here, so that's gotta say something at least.

We are usually quite happy with Paik’s, but on our last visit, it fell well under par.Half of our order was delivered, with the other half taking 30 mins to arrive. Not great when the idea is to eat them together. I tried to point out my dissatisfaction, and was met with no apology, but with “its ok”. Well, I say it is not.Added to that, they have become stingy with ingredients, as I counted only 2 shrimp and maybe 2 onions, to make up for it.A shame, we enjoyed coming here.

I came in at 7:30 for a to go order and they told me they closed, even though the sign clearly said they closed at 8. I’ve never had a problem here and I usually like their noodles, but the staff were extremely rude in ushering me out when I could see them serving other people. Never going back!
