Nice and simple interior looks. Service was ok nothing special . The food came out quickly and steamy hot which is how it should be except for the soup ( not steamy hot enough personal preference). I ordered salt and pepper chicken wings , xiao long bao and beef soup. The bao tasted fairly good, the chicken wings well seasoned and the beef soup in my opinion need some help. My overall experience was good.
I had the Vegetable Dumplings and Combination Stir Fry Rice Noodles. Both were simple and delicious. After I polished the plate off, I felt energized instead of tiered and bloated. Great place to hang out with friends too.
Service was okay.. they only had one noodle soup option; beef. The scallion pancakes were really greasy. The veggie fried dumplings were good. Not sure if I’ll go back
If you love authentic Chinese food, especially noodles and dumplings, then this is the place to stop by! We got the pan fried juicy pork buns & the spicy beef noodle soup, & it was AMAZING. Will definitely come back again~Addendum 2/6/22: I love this place for their authentic Chinese food & friendly staff. My honey ordered a bowl of Mulan beef noodle soup, & we planned to share it. The waitress kindly offered a small bowl so we can share it easier. What great customer service! For more food pics, check out @the.pikachew on Instagram ??
A great meal in a wonderful atmosphere with authenticity. The food here was excellent. Our beef and chicken choices were awesome. Great flavor with a real bite of spice from the added red sauce at the table. The chicken wings surprised me with more flavor than just your average fried chicken wing. Our waitress was very helpful in assisting us with our choices. This mid-day visit did not have too many eat-in customers but several take out customers. The price was a bit higher than expected but it was a great meal.
Piece of junk restaurant. Ordered chicken fried rice and beef noodle. $14 of beef noodle, two pieces of beef. Chicken fried rice, taste terrible. Will never come again.
First time dining in but order GH delivery every week. The food is very good. Definitely better in person than delivery and since the food is all made fresh, it does take some time either way. The one waitress that was working was overwhelmed. She served the whole restaurant but still did her best to take care of each table. She really was awesome. She did the best possible job that she could and still apologized. A great job. We love the food here and will be back again. We will also continue to order via GH when convenient. Highly recommended.
I've been here several times but it's been a while now until we ordered pickup recently. The first 3 or 4 experiences were really good. The food is more authentic in flavor and ingredients, with the favored Chinese-American inspired additions you'll find from your local takeout--done better. And at a fair price point. Dining in is prompt and friendly while pickup is smooth and on time. Then last night happened. For pickup we ordered a chicken dish and a noodle dish. The chicken was so dry that my son thought he had bit into a bone. The noodle dish was so small for the price and had barely any noodles - I asked them to omit the beef and use vegetable which saves them money - and still had hardly any noodles. The noodle dish was swimming in oil. The flavor was okay but our mouths were coated in oil. The broccoli was so saturated with oil that it was unpleasant to eat.Back to the size of the dish, I don't need a massive amount of food but if I remember correctly then their prices have really jumped while the dishes do not reflect consistency, much less add extra value.I don't know what happened and I'll probably give them another shot because they have been great in the past. Not thrilled with this last service though so 3 stars for now with fingers crossed that next time will be better.
Do not use the online ordering option for pickup. We have done this several times and when my husband arrives at least 20 minutes later to get the food, it is never started. Also if you order a meal but add an extra side of rice or fried rice you will only get one and not two. A meal should always come with rice and I usually order a side extra for my kids. You must call and specify they said, which I have never had to do for any other restaurant. Also don’t expect them to do anything if you call to complain.
The soup was so small. It is unbelievable. We got the Milan hand pull noodle. They made it with spaghetti instead of noodle. The taste was ok. We also got the combo fried rice, the spring roll and the fried pepper salt calamari.
