430pm on a Saturday. Decided to give this weird hours (no morning donuts?)place a shot. Well…it was bad. Only 5 flavors of old donuts available. A bunch of employees standing in the doorway of the backroom NEVER even greeted us. Stood there for a while and never got asked for my order. No customers in the building so that wasn’t the issue. Cleanliness was questionable. This place needs to close now and save themselves the remaining investment. Good luck!
The donuts were light and fluffy and so fun to pull apart and eat.There was a good selection of flavors. I chose original, churro, and chocolate almond. You can find the menu for the week on the Instagram page (@mochinut_carrollton). I think the box of 3 was $9.They are open until much later than I would've thought (9pm on a Friday).
Pleasantly surprised! I stopped by this place with my daughter because they were having a "k-Pop pre-concert Cafe night". We ordered a box of three. The mochi donut was ready tasty and fresh, we had churro, mango, and matcha Oreo.We ordered two teas, coffee and ube. The ube was definitely my favorite. We want to go back and try other flavors.
It was dirty there were crumbs on almost every table from previous customers. All their napkin dispensers were empty. They messed up my order several times it was overly hyped the food wasn’t good either. The wait time was terrible waited almost a hour for 3 drinks 2 of which they kept getting wrong.
Stopped in here last night after my niece told me I had to try these! Unfortunately, we had just eaten, so although we bought a box of six, we found it very hard to eat more than a bite of each. So my tasting experience was a little lacking. I will say they weren't the 'chewy' I was anticipating, as she had said. They had more body to them than a doughnut, since they are made with a rice flour, which creates a more dense bite. But it definitely isn't like a bagel, which is what I was afraid it would be like.I can't say which one I enjoyed the most - don't just get one, get several. And we got so lucky, they had just made a fresh batch when we arrived!The staff is so super friendly & masks ARE required, so just put it on. Super clean place. Definitely will go back! FYI - this place gets crowded on a Saturday night, very popular!
If you love donuts, then this is the place you should go. We love going to mochinut every time we are around in the area. Their donuts are subtly sweet & super soft. Tried different flavour donuts in every visit coz, they change their flavor often. Donuts Seems to have tapioca in them, but they are light, chewy, tasty and always fresh. Although the donuts are a bit pricey from the regular donuts. We still love them for the quality. Clean store, with nice interiors and friendly staff.
Forcing people to buy a dozen is ridiculous.
I tried the Churros mochi donut here and it was delicious! Very fresh and perfect amount of sugar for the sweetness. The packaging is cute and the store also had various teas and drink options. I did not try those but they looked good!
Taste great. My kid love it.
