Third time at Mena's and it never disappoints. We love the fajitas here. Service is great and the ambiance is friendly and casual, yet not a fast food feeling at all. Only feedback, is that they charge for sour cream! We have fajitas in many restaurants and I can't remember anywhere else that charges for a dollop of sour cream! All else, great place to eat!

Specifically asked for refried beans the last couple of times we came here. They gave us black beans. Black beans doesn't sit well with us and now we wastes $16 on these nasty beansSmh Mari Carmen needs to follow directions and give the correct orders out. Also, the Enchiladas taste like card board paper yuck
I am rating this a 4 star first and foremost because of our server Erick ONLY. The food is ok (ordered the fish with lime, surprisingly yummy). When I got there and requested a table for a party of 18, the server did not look pleased. The host along with another server made sure to repeatedly tell us to sit with our party together (since we were doing separate checks). I understand that it can be crazy/confusing when attending a huge party when it comes to arranging separate checks so I get it, but you can say it with a smile and it makes a world of a difference. Our server ERICK, did a phenomenal job as soon as he greeted and took our order, he smiled through out and made sure our party was well attended. He more than worked well for his tip. If you get Erick as your server, you will enjoy the food and time there.
This is definitely a restaurant that I enjoy and my family. Drinks are always on point, I enjoy frozen margaritas. My son loves the nachos and he can easily finish everything. I normally eat the sour cream chicken enchiladas, it’s my go to. My husband gets the chimichanga but this time he got the platter. The restaurant is kinda small but it’s definitely worth every penny.
I've never been so UPSET before by going here, but the BARTENDER (His name is Louise) was an absolute JERK! The food here is usually good, although as I sat down and he told me to leave because I "looked like" someone who was there earlier??! I asked what he was talking about and what his name is, he wouldn't tell me (I got his name from another server as I was walking out)... Absolutely PROFILED me as I was trying to make a to-go order!!! I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN!! JUST WEIRD!!

Had the spinach enchilada, which were filling and tasty. The service was prompt and attentive. Good stuff all the way around!
This restaurant used to be amazing but it has gone downhill ever since Pablo left those one to open more. Food is not as good. Don't treat you like repeat customers. I don't go there much anymore and used to go twice a week. Try Casa de Don Carlos one block East of the Tollway on Frankford as this is my weekly great Mexican restaurant and GREAT MOLE!
Best SERVICE! I called to see what the wait was like and Ashley the Hostess was super nice and answered any and all questions I had! Great service all around and the enchiladas were phenomenal!!
