My wife and stopped by this place to have a late lunch. The service was absolutely terrible and the wait staff was not very friendly at all. We sat in a booth by the window and I could see flies buzzing around through the blinds. The place seems very unsanitary to say the least. Food was not bad. Won't be visiting this restaurant again. When you go to a any restaurant you should feel welcomed because you are the customer. Didn't get that vibe here...

Would not recommend this place to my dogs. Service was extremely lackluster. The Bar smelled like mold and one of the refrigerators was open constantly showing condensation. The food was NOT authentic as the sign says. It was my first and LAST experience with this place. BEWARE! happy hour is a Joke! Texas law states that you can have 2 drinks for one person. I asked for 1 more margarita before happy hour ended and was told I had to finish the one I had before I could have another. They make you pay for more than one basket of chips and salsa $3.95 ( not worth it) My wife is from Monterrey Mexico and even she says the food is not authentic nor that great. When I tried to talk to Manager to explain my experience she wouldn’t even talk to me in English totally ignored me and talked to my wife in Spanish. GO TO THIS PLACE AT YOUR OWN RISK! I think they need a health inspection to be honest.

My in-laws used to come here all the time, but it seems to have gone downhill. We came for dinner on a Saturday night. The restaurant is dark inside, didn't seem very clean either. Service was lacking, as it took a while for our server come to our table. The menu has many delicious-sounding option, but the reality was a disappointment. The shrimp enchiladas tasted no different, if not worse, than any major chain restaurant. The frozen watermelon margarita didn't have much flavor or alcohol either. The guacamole was excellent, though. They charge for chips, who does that? We likely won't come back and will go to a different Mexican place when in the Carrollton area.

For me this one of my top 5 restaurants of all time. I've eaten there over the course of the last 20 years and still love it almost as much as I did when I first went there. There items whatever you order typically is served at your table within 5 minutes their food is perfect. My only caveat is that they used to have quail and other dishes which they do not have any longer. If you like I'll send it give it a try I think you'll like it too.

The menu is basic Tex-Mex food at reasonable prices. Service is very attentive and super friendly. Sauces tasted fresh but not too spicy.

The place doesn't have the look of a great place to eat but it is a great place to eat. The prices are not to expensive but just right. The food is very good. The appetizers are excellent. We ordered your queso bowl expecting to be your average one but got a very deep bowl filled to the rim. The Moltajete for two people. It was filled with everything you could have asked for and more. It had chicken, fajitas, shrimp and filled with cheese. Top it of with a huge grilled jalapeño with side of your choice of tortillas. The service was excellent, friendly and prompt. It was a great surprise. I am going back for sure when in the neighborhood. Although my husband is wanting to go back just for this restaurant for staycation.

This is my first time so far the salsa and queso are very tasty delicious actually better that Uncle Julios. If you live in Carrollton area definitely try this place is quiet you will enjoy it. The only thing I have to say negative the food was testing great besides my chicken salad the shell was stale, please don't do this it's not worth it. Dear owner I will advise you to take a trip to Mama Angie's Mexican restaurant and try the chicken salad from that place and you will see why.... and my last thought I will focus more on quality not quantity you have too many options on the menu which everybody knows it's not possible to have all of this cooked fresh .Thank you I will definitely come back here

I love the food. Ridiculously. But they never open on time. Ever. 30 minutes or more everyday they are late to open. And while I wait good paying customers come, find its still not open and then leave to go elsewhere.Too bad. We love this place but sitting in a parking lot for 45 minutes everytime i want breakfast is a bit rough.

The food was delicious, Service was Excellent and great Atmosphere.?

We was seated very quickly, waitress was very friendly.Salsa was hotter than most we've had, thankfully.Good was very good, sweet tea not so much. The price was pretty reasonable, I think we'll be back.
