Totally worth the wait and fun place to eat! Very good sushi! There were 75 people ahead of us in line at about 8-8:30pm on a Sunday night. Went pretty quick, though, since we added ourselves to the line from home. We had lots of fun eyeing all the fresh, tasty sushi that went by. They serve real, authentic wasabi, which I’ve never had before, and it was so good! Perfect amount of heat. Highly recommend the gyudon/ojyu beef bowl, which is ordered using the virtual server, rather than from the conveyer belt. I could seriously eat that beef bowl every single day, it’s SO good! Also highly recommend ANY sushi roll with eel because the umami flavor is phenomenal and the portions are larger/way better than what I’ve seen at other sushi places. Only here for a week, visiting a friend in Dallas and I wish they would open something like this in San Antonio!
This restaurant ‘gamifies’ sushi with the conveyor and the how the system works. You pay per small plate (which you dispose at the same location) and you will always have a revolving conveyor that will show you what kind of sushi it is. In case you don’t see what you want, you could always order from the digital menu screens they have above you. For the amount you get, it’s similarly priced at other sushi restaurants except that this offers much more variety. I recommend trying at least once if you want a new sushi experience.
This was such a fun place to go! I would suggest you get there early! I came with a group of 15 so we were there a little before they opened. The staff was awesome. They got our drinks out super fast and were super duper helpful explaining to us how everything worked. If there is something that you want to order that is not coming along on the revolving line, you can order it right from your screen. They even had stuff for people that don't like seafood! All the plates were very pretty and I did not have any dishes I didn't like! It can get pricey if you plan to eat alot, but I think it was well worth it. This is definitely a place that I will go to again!!
Kura is my favorite sushi place. You can afford to try new menu items because they are reasonable and the perfect size for tasting. The app makes planning your visit so easy to reserve your spot before heading over. Everyone is friendly and the Wasabi is so fresh, not green horseradish like other places. The seared scallops with Japanese mayo is my favorite and my daughter loves the aburi unagi with miso cream cheese.

This was a fabulous date nite. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!While living in L.A. my husband I frequently went to revolving sushi, and this experience didn't disappoint. Food was delicious and the price was great! We had 11 plates and soft drinks and after tip had spent only $67.00.There are lots of fun shops in this center and I plan to visit again with friends soon. Five ? !
We had an INCREDIBLE experience. This was our group's first time and the server was so gracious to explain patiently. We can't wait to return. Affordable price point for the quality. Loved the Wagyu special role.
Reserve your spot on the app. It’s great and then just check in with the staff at the front if you’re up before you arrive as long as you’re within the 15 minute window.Was hoping for more spacing in between patrons but other than that, very convenient ordering system. Basic salmon didn’t meet my expectations but the rest of my order tasted fine.Big fan of the self checkout. Definitely would like to come back again.
Tomorrow is my daughters 15th birthday and she has been dying to try this place. And all I can say is it was an excellent choice. We really enjoyed the sushi, all we tried was very good and tasted very fresh. We will definitely be back for more. The Tiger roll was awesome!! I definitely wanted more but was too full lol
