We had three AMAZING things. Crab salad, shrimp fried rice, and the Texas Dragon Roll. So. Much. Good. Food. The fried rice is hands down the best I’ve ever had. I would come back just for the fried rice. The roll was huge, delicious, and well prepared. I swear there was a whole eel on top. You have to come, you won’t regret it, I promise. ???
I had a good time here. It’s small on the inside, but I had no trouble getting a spot on a Saturday afternoon. I got the chicken fried rice and an order of salmon sushi. The rice was great, but the sushi, while good, was nothing special. The soda was also flat. But I’d come back; it definitely has more character than a lot of places in this strip mall.
We came all this way for Kura on Saturday (3/19/22), and to our disappointment they were closed.But..We found this hidden gem, when I tell you I have never had better sushi in my life I am being honest. The rainbow roll had to have fresh crab mixed in and it just was delicious. Its a small family owned place where the owner/manager is hopping back and forth from the kitchen to the dining room and fluent Japanese is spoken all around you. It transports you and is just amazing. We will for sure be back!My only complaint is that the bathrooms were hidden, and when I walked in there was a gentleman using the bathroom so I was very embarrassed. Maybe having more than one communal bathroom would be great!
This is a small hole-in-the-wall Japanese restaurant. The waiters/waitresses were super friendly and helpful. The food came out fast and they tasted great! I went with a group of 5 so we all order quite a few and got to try a lot! The hot sake had a great taste to it. The miso soup came out hot! It was awesome! The combination fried rice had great flavoring. I felt like most places that have fried rice only put in soysauce, but this place actually made it with more and it tasted great! Pork katsu was so good my buddy devoured it super fast!!! The only dish I thought was not my favorite is the monkey brains. My buddy enjoyed it alot, but I just did like it much.
I came in right after lunch so the floor was empty, we were seated promptly and the service was great. Highly recommend the Chicken Karrage and Tempura.
Cute little place offering Japanese cuisine behind 99 Ranch and next to KTV\\n\\nIt's a good place to get a quick bite to eat.
Great place. We ordered ramen and yakishoba and it was delicious. Totally recommend it.\\nThe entrance is kind of hidden.
Great find in our neighborhood! Excellent friendly service and great sushi. Everything was beautifully served, very fresh and delicious. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is their sushi/sashimi offerings are minimal and they don't use real crab. It's located in the area behind 99 Ranch. We shall return!
The staff was very nice and helpful throughout our dinner. The waitress is very attentive and helpful in explaining the menu of what some food may it contain. The sushi was very fresh and delicious. Me and friends will likely be coming back. Thank you for serving us!!
Don’t know how this place got such a good rating. We ordered 2 sushi rolls and chicken curry udon. Chicken was super dry and bland. Sushi was warm and rice was half crunchy and half soft. One pot of hot tea is $8!!! Give 2 stars to the waitress, she was nice.
