Came into town really late and was lucky enough that this place was still open. Made it into the waitlist and waited about 30 minutes to be seated on a busy Saturday night. I got the usual: brisket, pork belly, and beef belly. The servers were very attentive, and were very frequent with the grill changes. Throughout the entire dinner, the server kept coming back asking how we were doing and asking if we wanted more meat. Great service, great food, and I'm glad Gen exists here in Texas because I have always loved the one back home in LA.

The first time, the food and experience were a good time. It took the group a few meat selections until we found our favorites, which were beef Bulgogi, pork belly, and short ribs. They have a waiter that keeps the grill changed regularly, so it is not so charred. There is no fried rice option, steamed rice, and three sauces to add additional flavor. It's definitely an experience to have again and again.

Great food! Great atmosphere!

The food was amazing! Would highly recommend

This is a great eating experience. The all you can eat buffet has lots of options. Be aware you cook your own meat at your table. I would recommend the bees short ribs, the pineapple beef and the brisket. Be sure to dip your brisket in the green tea salt since it isn't seasoned. The have a great list of sides as well. I don't really have anything negative to say about this place. As long as you don't overcook the meat, you'll have a great time. The wait staff was very friendly and informative, I will definitely go back with my entire family.

It’s so nice this place and the food is excellent, I really recommend to go with friends or family

We wanted Korean BBq and found an all you can eat for $30/person. You do have to order in 4's so please bring a friend or 2 to get your moneys worth. Service is frequent and respectable with a zen atmosphere.

The atmosphere is a bit noisy. The quality of the foods and choices is nearly immeasurable. It is an all-you-can-eat event with no doggie bags. The servers were very attentive bringing servings of food and beverages. Cooking our own food was different.

Great experience with delicious food! People are nice, and atmosphere is good. All meat was very good. Great place to experience new way of dinning. Cook your own meal the way you want it.

The price is very expensive, you can’t be sat down unless half of your party has arrived, which I find weird? I do like that it’s extremely cold inside, they change the burners pretty often and prevents the food from getting burnt. The meats they use look very nice and marbled. After a while, they stop coming to your table to see if you want any other meats. They’ll take at least 15 minutes to go back and check on how you’re doing. I don’t like all the small kimchi plates they provide, I personally think it’s a waste to give them out to everyone. I went with 5 other people, and only 1 or 2 of us actually ate it. The side of rice they give us is really mushy and cold, I don’t know how anyone could eat that. One last thing, who eats salad at a Korean bbq? The only thing that bothered me, is that once again after a while they stop checking up on you and they limit how many plates they bring you. If I’m paying $30+ on a meal and have a party of 6 why am I being limited on how much I can eat? I’m a broke college student so when I’m going to have a feast, I want to have a good feast.
