Nice that they wear a face mask, but they need to be wearing hair nets too! We found 3 long black hairs in our family pack, and it was on separate pieces of food. The Hot Fries had a light Cajun seasoning and were very plain and flavorless. The biscuits had no flavor and were dry. The chicken wasn’t bad, but really needs to be spicy to have any flavor. I don’t recommend this place at all.
My very first and last visit.Customer Service:Hare drive thru. Had to repeat order 4 times. And still had to correct order when I pulled up. Don't understand why you can't walk in.Food:Fried chicken has no taste and a little overcook.Hot fries would have been ok but cold.Cole slaw had so much pepper I had to throw out.
Great food and it’s always really hot even by the time you get home. My only complaint would be the drive through is pretty slow. But it almost seems like they are cooking the food to order so that might be why the food is so good and nice and hot.
Right now just the drive through was open. Everything was amazing ? chicken, catfish, fried okra, shrimp, hush puppies, fries. I'm hungry just thinking about it.Amazing food .
I got the 2pc chicken tenders and 2pc catfish meal with double fries seasoned with hot seasoning for 14.06 and I can honestly can’t be more happy with the amount I get and quality the catfish taste and how fresh you get it when you order my only down side with this is that gravy sauce, if they made a sauce kinda like Canes this place would be a Gem but right now it’s better then Canes
Full catfish fillets. Not cut in half, but a full fillet.filled. corn meal dipped then fried. The way I remember it on camping trips. Amazing
Everything is cooked fresh to order, so you may wait a few minutes on your order. Everything I have tried is awesome, cooked perfectly and delicious. The portion's are generous and the prices are very reasonable, you won't end up hungry or broke, plus they give a 10% senior discount if you ask for it. I was hesitant to try this new place, but relatives recommended it and I'm glad I tried it. Right now it is drive through only (thank you Covid-19), no problem. If you buy a combo meal and don't need or want the drink, you can substitute it for an additional side for the same price. The fries were crinkle cut and limp, but now they are crispy straight fries. Great customer service, friendly and courteous always. Try it, you will like it. Family owned and run, not a franchise. Now I don't have to drive all the way to Chicken Express to get fried chicken livers for my wife. A pleasant surprise hiding in an old bank building.
Extremely disappointed, fries were soggy, catfish drenched in oil. Seemed like they added the fish when the oil wasn't hot enough. Fish wasn't crispy, just soggy warm fish. No flavor, nothing was good, I had to even add seasons salt to make it better, but that didn't help. Hush puppies were not good either. Waste of money and waste of food.
Found this place during the pandemic and it’s a family favorite. The food is always fresh and hot even going through the drive through. The prices are very affordable in these days 20$ doesn’t go very far but you can feed your family at here!
The staff was nice but the food was just okay. Nothing special and not really seasoned well. My sister wanted to go based on the suggestions on some website but we were not impressed.
