Place was very nice looking but I don't think they are very educated when it comes to drinks and food. Their signature drink the Dragon Boba Milk Tea is not even a milk tea at all. Its a latte because its literally just brown sugar and milk but I guess throw boba in any drink and its a milk tea now. Unlike other places like 85 bakery they actually name their drinks differently because their milk tea is actually milk and tea and their lattes are sugar and milk. Food took a generous 15-20 minutes to come out with little customers in the place and rice was eventually cold. All and all you're going here for the aesthetics and not the quality but with high prices to pay when you can get it done better somewhere else but hey if you have money to throw and want to have a cool place to study for your snap stories this is the place to go.
Chic interior with comfortable— but top heavy— seating for guests at large tables. Mochi donuts flavors are plentiful and give a pretty standard mochi donut experience. Coffee is pretty standard. There are a variety of boba drinks, desserts, hot and savory snacks, as well as a coffee bar to order from. The main downside to this is that electric outlets are very sparse if there are any at all.
A little cafe with both boba and coffee options. They also have sweet and savory foods to choose from. Free wifi so it its a great place to study.
Had a friend introduce me to this place, and I am totally impressed! While on the slightly pricier side, Dragon Boba offers a large variety on their menu. Interior was cute and spacious. Bathrooms were clean and had nice lighting. Bonus if you are a kpop fan as there are kpop decorations and music being played (mainly IU though). My only gripe is that the music was a bit too loud. Now on to the food review:• Dragon boba - The Dragon Boba is basically a brown sugar boba drink. The flavor and sweetness was good. The tapioca pearls were soft but still had a nice chew to them.• Mochi doughnuts: my favorite out of the three things I ordered. My goodness, these doughnuts were amazing!! Chewy yet soft and pillowy. I got the cookie butter flavor. Would definitely get again!• Kimchi Carbonara: Major props to whoever came up with this creative flavor combo. The sour and spiciness from the kimchi pairs perfectly well with the rich, creamy carbonara sauce. Portion size was decent and the piece of bread on the side was delicious. While I enjoyed the dish, I do have a couple suggestions that would elevate it to the next level, like the masterpiece tier. With such a creamy sauce, I believe a thicker spaghetti pairs much better than the thin spaghetti they used - or even better, bucatini - and cooked to al dente. The bacon inside the carbonara was of the thin-cut variety. To really hone in on the Korean fusion, something like Samgyupsal in place of the bacon would be perfect.Overall, this is a cute place with great food and drinks. I would definitely recommend this place to have a meal and chat with friends.
The staff was friendly and fast. The Dragon Boba is probably the best milk tea I've had in a long time. I tried the Nutella mochi donut and loved it! Cute shop with a super cozy atmosphere.
Neat little place. It doesn’t look extraordinary from the outside but inside is quite nice. They have a serving robot too. Kids seemed to love it and I did too.A bit of food options here but haven’t tried it yet. Ordered the dragon boba and it wasn’t as sweet as I was expecting but tasted fine. A little more ice than I wanted and I wasn’t asked about ice or sweetness ratio like most bubble tea places do.I wouldn’t come back just for the boba but if you want food, boba, and a cozy atmosphere can’t go wrong with here. It’s not too far from the hmart area where there are more chains but it can also get congested there so Dragon’s a nice choice if you want boba and don’t want to deal with all that.
There is plenty of parking by the restaurant. You walk in and order and the counter and pick your own seats. Staff wore masks. The menu is pretty expansive, but it seems that they change it up ever so often. I really wanted to try the different type of toasts, however, they no longer serve that. The inside is fairly spacious and they have cute cups, plushies and etc for sale. Also, a cool robot delivers your food after it’s ready.Gingerbread latte: okay first the latte art is so cute. Taste was also delicious. You can taste a hint of the gingerbread, not overly sweet either.Kimchi fried rice: the kimchi is the nice amount of pickled so that it seasoned the rice well. The egg is nice and runny. Would have preferred to have the “salad” in a separate plate/bowl.Mentiko pasta: not spicy and well flavored. The picture did show two large peeled shrimps but the actual dish is one prawn that you had to kinda peel on your own.Kimchi carbonara: creamy and well flavored. Less spicy than the fried rice.Macaroons: there are a few different flavors, each are individually packaged. All of them tasted really sweet, I would say these are just average.Cookies and cream mochi doughnut: first time trying one and I was surprised, it actually tasted not bad. Not too sweet and it is more chewy than a traditional doughnut. This flavor was a bit sweet. We also tried the strawberry one which was more tolerable on the sweetness level.Would be curious to try other items if I’m ever in the area.
