Came on a Saturday night for food only, but will try to reserve a karaoke room next time. By 7-ish p.m., they were booked for the night. Ordered japchae (smoky and delicious, not a huge portion) and kimchi jeon (with cheese, kimchi flavor too mild tho). My friend ordered the chapaguri which was pretty flavorful, too. We've all lived in or visited Seoul and the atmosphere fit our memories of laidback beer and makgeolli pubs so we were really comfortable hanging out there.
This restaurant/karaoke bar right here has a special place in my heart. Now I have tried various items from this restaurant but combo of Half and Half fried chicken, Soju, and Hite beer is absolutely unbeatable for me. The chicken is made upon ordered so there is a wait time but the wait is completely worth it! I definitely recommend ordering sides or an appetizer. One of my favorites appetizers is the cheese corn. Again I have tried various Korean Fried Chicken spots but if available this definitely where I will be spending my money!
The food was pretty good. They messed up my order but the food they brought out was good, a bit pricy. The service was trash. The waiters were rude and when I asked how long our fried rice was going to take, they said it was because they had so many orders come in… there was a total of 8 people in the restaurant including my table (3 of us). Not going back just bc of the service that was provided..
The Pa-Duk was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend going to this place for its happy hour. The vibes are awesome and very personal in terms of the experience. Will be coming back!
My first time to dine in Dansungsa Carrollton area. It was at 9pm on a weekday but it felt like it was a long exhausting day for the waiter. We were welcomed with a long face and a lil attitude. The food came out delicious but not to our expectations. The server apologised and sent it back to the kitchen and came back more satisfyingly better food. I’ll give it a 4 out of 5 dining experience for them trying to make it right.
10/10 vibes. The food here is AMAZING. The entire place makes you feel like family, they are very attentive and make you feel very welcome. Shout out to Joe and Leon (and Chris if he ever comes back again)
Food is very basic tasting. Not bad not good. What dropped it down the most was having the waiter tell me he was busy when there was only one other table being used in the whole restaurant.Wouldn't recommend. Not sure how the karaoke is.
I've been here twice in one week. The food here is very addicting. It is a little pricey but the portion sizes are huge.for 16 dollars you get enough food for two people, one very hungry person, or leftovers for the next day. My only complain is the lack of fountain drinks/refills on the soda
For a really busy restaurant, the owners and staff are very attentive and the service is fast. This is a great place to be if you want delicious food and good drinks. The karaoke rooms are also fun.
Eat here was serve burn food the rest didn’t have flavor. I told them about it but they said no refund even thou I didn’t ask for it after 30mn wait.Just wanted them to know. My first time eating Korea food and it was awful experience.
