I ordered 1/4 chicken and brisket for 15 bucks. Chicken was cold, old and dry. Brisket was cold and dry as well. I waited 20 minutes to get my order. I got home... 5 min away and noticed that I got no roll along with old food. I called and got Rose. After I told her about my food she basically said... uhm.. well you can come back or I can refund your 25 cents for the roll. I asked for her name, thanked her and politely hung up. I probably won't be back.
My green beans were so cold. Ugh and the food was not that flavorful. But it was a one try type of thing!!! Nice staff though!!!!

I tried the whole rotisserie chicken for the first time and it was the best I ever had! The chicken was so juicy and seasoned throughout. I definitely recommend trying this place out.
Best Chicken ever.. I've been a fan of Cowboy Chicken since I put in a new Kitchen in 1990 and ordered from them once a week for over a year. My house was 5 minutes away from the original location near Bachman Lake. This is a cute, busy location, with college aged students working the counter. The twice baked mashed potatoes were the worst I've ever had. They tasted like they were 4 days old and had been left out on the counter. Dry, Dry, Dry tasteless mush of a stringy mess of tasteless old mashed up something. The mens bathroom was a disaster zone, filthy and trashed. Someone has paid alot to open and establish a Cowboy Chicken here in far North Dallas. To bad they are not carrying on the tradition of quality food and basic decent cleanness. The inventor and super nice man who sold me all those chickens back in the day when he started Cowboy chicken would have been ashamed.
Prices are to high for just 3 pieces an one side item $10.+,Also the quality has gone south on the twice bake potatoes,An yes all location,I know everyone is hurting because of covit19 situation,But we as customers are hurting aswel financially.never again.
They're normally good, but today they forgot/lost my order. When I asked on the status, she just shrug it off. Spent almost an hour waiting on 3 pieces of chicken until I decided it wasn't worth the wait.
Always LOVE the usual chicken, enchiladas, sides and cobbler, so this year we got the turkey and fixings meal for our Thanksgiving feast. This could be a new tradition! It was a very complete meal, DELICIOUS, and gave us way more family time since we didn’t have to cook, and very little to clean up. We even got to finish 3 card games AND Miracle on 34th Street! WELL done, and THANKS Cowboy Chicken!
Killer Mexican Street Corn
Roasted chicken was moist and full of flavor. Chicken enchiladas are awesome. Twice baked potatoes and jiffy corn pie were best sides.
