Fish fried to perfection.. just no seasonings
I ordered from the catfish house tonight for the first time and it was a very bad experience...I'll start with the shrimp. How could anyone in the kitchen serve that and not smell how that shrimp smelt? Like seriously that shrimp.smelled horrible and outdated. The catfish was bland and Also had a fishy funky odor to it as well the.hushpuppiea weren't even hot let alone were they even good....$60 worth of food in the trash because it was uneatable so everyone please watch your food they are serving old food at this establishment and also deleting bad reviews and I'm going to save my review so if its deleted again I'll only repost it.
Holy smokes! Best catfish in town! Best fried green tomatoes my husband had ever had! BEST hush puppies I've had in I don't know when. I'm so impressed with the variety on the menu, and everything looks like it's a family recipe! I've already called my family out of state to let them know where we're taking them for their first dinner here!
This is the best catfish I've had. I lived in Ms. For 6 yrs. And only know 1 place there tht had great catfish, now I have a 2nd place Hushpuppies were also the best I've had. Green tomatoes were more acidic then I like.
Great clam appetizer. Some of the best catfish I’ve had in a long time. The iced tea was also outstanding. Definitely will be coming back regularly when I want seafood.
This place is a hidden gem in Carrollton. Their fillet and shrimp combo baskets are amazing and the clam chowder is above par which says a lot for the area. They have started serving soft shell crab as well and have Gold Peak teas available. One of the best catfish joints for sure if you're in the area. Definitely recommend.
The cat fish house is the place to dine. The fish is fresh and hot. Tea is off the chain. I would recommend this place to the president. We will be going back soon, Keep up the good work guy's!
The best and biggest shrimp, catfish is not ever my favorite but try it here, I'm a fan... only from this restaurant. Nothing is greasy. Very well done.
Been eating here for years. Excellent spot for fried catfish. My wife and I usually split an order of fried oysters al a carte and a catfish basket. Best had fresh outta the fryer!
