Good food, good people. We're new here and have been looking for a great american burger place.... Quite suprised they were not busier: We moved from out of state and all the hamburger places we've tried, such as twisted root next-door, are more expensive and not near as tasty. In my country the great taste and price would make them crowded... Best burger in Dallas area!
I've been coming here for years, really good classics burgers, and some interesting choices for specialty burgers as well.
On my way home from a soccer game and pulled Burger Island up on Google maps. Decided to check it out due to all the good reviews. It did not disappoint. It’s a really good burger and the buns are soft, not very dense. No 5 stars cause there is always room for improvement. That being said you won’t be disappointed.
The burgers ? are completely to die for! Hate I didn’t get to take pictures but I’ll get a chance because I’m definitely going back over an over an over lol ? Real beef patties… man I could go on an on! A chain burger place could never! Don’t judge by the appearance… you find the best food at the small mom pop type places! I had the deluxe burger! Baby I hadn’t had a huge juicy burger like that in years! I’m in love with this place now.. love at first bite! ??
New place for us, we were a little iffy but it was good. Service was great, so was the hamburgers. I got the guacamole burger and it had a lot of avocado enough to be oozing out the burger. It was great. It's a clean place. You can watch them make the burgers. Will be back.
The best burgers in Dallas. A hole in the wall burger joint. But the best so far. Reminds me of the way old school burgers should taste like.
Stopped here for a quick lunch and it was delicious!!! Home cut style fries, fresh ground burger and a huge portion. Thanks you to the staff it was a great experience.

I stopped by here today 10/20/21. Simple to find this place. Very friendly feeling from the staff. The guy taking orders/delivering food to tables and more was very friendly. Comfortable feeling in this place. The bacon cheeseburger and chili fries I ate was great! I really enjoyed the experience. Prices are great and would recommend stopping by for a burger or sandwich etc. I’m sure you will experience the warm feeling I did eating here. ??
