We've been here several times. We've tried all the meats and they all have great flavor. I think my biggest surprise was the turkey. It was so moist...even the leftovers that we ate the next day. Still moist. That really says something.The staff is friendly...even when they are short handed, they still keep a great attitude. That says a lot. We're glad they're here in our little Downtown area.
Mims and mems for sure! The brunch here is delicious and the staff is so friendly! Also the fried deviled eggs… to sell your soul to the devil for!
Excellent service, friendly staff that knows what to recommend. The pork belly burnt ends were magical. The brisket and ribs were great, amazing flavor. The smoked looked amazing but I didn’t try it, and the jalapeño cheese sausage was excellent. I was super impressed with the deviled eggs, a must try!Kasey did a great job taking care of us.The bar looks amazing and will definitely hit that up next trip.
Onion rings and fried okra were great. Ribs were ok, but a bit too sweet for my taste. Brisket had a good texture, but didn't really seem to have much flavor. However, three issues:Issue 1: There is an online beer menu. But the menu is for their other location, not this location. So you have no idea what beer is on tap and the servers have no idea either.Issue 2: When my food came out, we were then told that my wife's burnt end pork belly would be 25 minutes out and that we could order something else if we wanted. Seems like that's something that should be able to be known at the time of placing the order with the kitchen.Issue 3: The 25 minutes delayed pork belly became an hour delayed. It seems like the 5+ servers were doing everything and that no one had any specific assigned tasks. This meant that no one came by our table for an hour until we went to the bar to ask for our check. Only at that point did the bartender go back to the kitchen and get the pork belly for us.Overall, the food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. That combined with it seeming like the staff didn't seem to know what was going on, I can't really recommend this place.

The owner Ryan recommended we try the pancake shot + pork belly and WOW I highly recommend you try it. Great place to eat amazing BBQ, craft beer, watch your favorite sports team and listen to great music.

First of all don’t let some of these negative reviews fool you this place is outstanding! Now that we have that out of the way Ryan Denise and Madison have excellent customer service skills and the establishment is blessed to have them on payroll. I went in on a Sunday night to enjoy a few drinks and maybe a bite and ended up staying till close hanging out with some really fun people and having a really great time.Endless number of whiskeys Burbons and spirits and a bunch of beer you’re not gonna find it too many places.The beer was ice cold, the food was piping hot and delicious, the music was just right and the atmosphere was perfect. Looking forward to another visit to this gem! Once this place gets its roots in good it’ll be packed walk to wall. I’ll be stopping in for the live music during brunch very soon. Carrollton is lucky to have these guys in their city.
The service started off great , the drinks were good the food was good. Had 2 old fashions which were delicious, but we placed a simple bread pudding order that took over 50 min to get, come on !!!!! everyone that sat after we got there received their food. I’m am trying not to judge to much since I just moved to the area. I tip good but please a little more attention to detail. Again drinks were good but after a long day of moving , all I expect is that you just question the cooks if your dessert order is not ready within 15 min. It’s no excuse.
Really good bbq chicken and pulled pork burger. Reasonably priced food and taste great.Little to none service - no greetings when you walk in the restaurant; no water if you don’t ask; no one come take orders if you don’t ask; no interactions or even eye contact from server for 10+ mins after you walk in.Just seat yourself, get their attention and don’t wait for them to come to you. And enjoy the food.
