This place is off the gosh darn chain! Absolutely the best fried chicken I've ever had. The biscuits taste like they were baked in heaven and brought to Earth before they even cooled off. Add a little butter and honey to those sweet rays of sunshine and you have got pure biscuit pleasure going on in your mouth. Then get to that Krispy krunchy fried chicken that's juicy and tender and moist. What else can I tell you about it? Go there, eat the chicken and biscuits and be happy.
This place has always been awesome! The food is great and the atmosphere is fun and peaceful. I ordered the chicken tenders which tasted great and was hot and flavored well! They also gave me this chicken mustard sauce that was amazing! My family ordered the fried fish and the fried Chicken which of course was great and crispy, hot and flavorful. Each person orders a chicken item or catfish which is then served in the middle of the table for everyone to share. Although the chicken and fish is limited, the sides are unlimited. The sides include green beans, creamed corn, the best biscuits I've ever tasted, salad and mashed potatoes. The only thing better than the already great food, is the staff. Each time I come here, the host and the server are absolutely incredible. They are attentive, they are smiling, they are fun to have around, and they are very kind. I cannot stress enough the quality these employees are. These servers need at a minimum, triple pay and a minimum of a months EXTRA vacation. Our server, Jocelyn, Deserves X100 salary.
Not a big fan of their food. I'm just not. Only been a few times ...3 different locations with others that wanted to come so I obliged. My job recently catered from here OMG THAT PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE should be illegal soooooooo darn good. Oh em gee. I didn't even know this place had desserts. I'd drive here just for that cake. Best I've ever had hands down.
If your looking for good food and fun looking atmosphere? Well look no further then Babe's Chicken dinner house.You pick your protein and the sides all come out family style (Green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, saw mill gravy) biscuits & salad come out with the drinks. They have desserts also but didn't get it this time as we were full..If you have leftover food, they don't have to-go box's. They have to-go bags to place your food in. Cost per protein about $17.00 each but comes with all you can eat sides. We ordered the chicken fried steak and chicken tenders. We also paid for our drinks, total before tip $44.00.All in All, great place to eat and nice area to walk around.

This restaurant and its environment is fantastic! The fake chickens in the rafters always cracks me up and my kids love looking for them.The chicken tastes delicious and the unlimited sides are delightful. I love dipping the chicken tenders in their home style white country gravy. Their honey-mustard is also delicious.The service here is always good and they always keep your drinks filled. 10/10 would recommend this restaurant and location.We lived in Texas for almost 4-years and we were glad to visit here on a business trip together! Thanks!
Well, I really was excited to finally get to try Babe's. I decided to get carry out. The ni e lady that took my call on order was wonderful and friendly. My food was set to be ready in 15 minutes. It was ready in 10 minutes. The meal was hot and massive. 4 pieces of very crunchy hard fried chicken, Italian flat green beans, creamed corn tossed salad with house vinegrette and mashed potatoes and cream gravy. Oh and banana puddingOk, so clearly the chicken is salt water brined. I found that it was salty, but tender. Very crunchy. The oil tasted unfortunately old and its smell is lingering in my car. Disappointed. Next the biscuits were warm, but a bit tasteless and maybe reheated. I want to love this place. I really do. Next the potatoes tasted instant, gravy was just ok and the green beans were scorched. Im really sad about this. The light at the end of the tunnel was the corn. Oh my goodness it was fantastic!!! I will confess at the time I'm writing this I haven't tasted the banana pudding. Here's hoping it is delicious.Sincerely, I wanted to love it. $23 lesson about hype.
