Arirang’s kimchi is my favorite! I’d never been a huge fan of kimchi in the past, I would only add it to soups and stews, but their kimchi is the perfect mix of sweet, sour, and acidic. I add it to almost every meal now! ?
This restaurant has authentic Korean soups! They specialize in hand made noodles and dumpling soups. Every dish I’ve had here is delish!
I’ve been here at least 5 times, the main dish, the anchovy noodle soup, is always good and what kept me coming back. Unfortunately, everything else about this restaurant is mediocre at best.Customer service is not good, my friend had ordered dumplings which did not come out with the order, and upon asking for them was met with a snappy response from the lady who I assume is the owner, and a couple replies back and forth later she finally admitted the dumplings weren’t served yet. Side dishes were not included with my entree and I had to ask for them. Side dishes are severely lacking compared to any you could get at any other comparable Korean restaurant. The place isn’t exactly clean either, my friends commented on the not clean utensils and had to wipe them down before using, and the worst part of the dine in experience is there were flies flying around the place, some of which proceeded to land on the dumplings my friend ordered, prompting him to not eat them and have to take them home to reheat.
Great food. The soup with chicken broth was fresh. The kimchi dumping delicious and the dumpling mun outstanding.
Unique food at reasonable prices. The homemade dumplings are an order of five, and they are quite large. The food took about 15 minutes to be ready. The staff were friendly and overall, the experience pleasant.
I've been here before and it was good. Went last night and it was awful. Everything was tasteless. The corn was bare without any seasonings or even so much as a little butter. It was awful. Egg was horrible. Meat just wasn't good at all. We spent $150 for a meal that we expected to be of a much higher quality. Very disappointing. I won't be back.
Good and cheap Korean noodle place. Spicy eggplant noodle and soybean noodle has been the best for me. Their handmade dumplings aren't that great. They are busy most of time and servers/owners aren't the friendly people but noodle dishes are good.
Noodle was good. But the broth was little too salty.Mandoo dough was good but the stuffing was also little salty in my opinion.
IT'S EXPENSIVE NOW! Been going to this place for a few years. My favorite home made udon-style noodles and dumplings in town! However, PRICES HAVE GONE UP! Just few weeks ago from this posting, #2 noodle w/ chicken was $8 and the #12 pork dumpling was $3.50. Now the same are $10.98 and $4.98 respectively. Felt a bit disappointed with the price increase, but at least the quality is consistent. Probably won't be coming back here often now.
