I discovered this place while searching through Google reviews. Italian food is not my go-to, but this has changed my mind. The food was delicious...Seasoned well and presentation complimented every bite. The atmosphere is perfect for small parties or celebrations. The staff was first time experienced focus. Very impressive decor. I drove at least 30 mins to get there (with the current gas prices) it was worth it!!
Positively THE best and classiest restaurant in downtown Carrollton, Texas. I like to think of it as a little hidden treasure right in our midst. Chef Bartolino is amazingly gifted; and his talent is evident from appetizers to dessert! Treat yourself to a real treat and try this place--you won't be disappointed in the food or the service or the romantic atmosphere.
Absolutely beautiful Italian restruant, reasonable prices and fantastic for a date night, do NOT pass this place by if you are looking for a romantic night out, the service is incredible.
We really enjoyed our visit here. Made reservations an hour before coming and they had our table ready with water and bread ready when we arrived. Our waiter, Miguel, was very attentive, even while serving multiple other tables nearby. He really did an amazing job. The food absolutely hit the spot and we'll definitely be back to try some other entrees. The price was great too. I honestly had expected our bill would be higher!

Excellent quality - it's obvious that chef takes care and effort to make fresh and delicious dishes. I was a little worried at first that the quality would not be up to par with the price, as it's often that restaurants are more proud than they are capable... But this was not at all the case. Outstanding food, outstanding service. One small note, the iced tea seemed spiced with something which I wasn't expecting, but even that grew on me over the meal. Try the tiramisu!!!
Our first time coming here and we came for our anniversary. We didn't know we needed a reservation and they were sweet enough to seat us anyway. We ordered the garlic bread, escargot, Pork porterhouse and veal tenderloin. The wine was delicious and so many options. The garlic bread was delicious and fresh out of the oven. The escargot and sauce was amazing. Omg who is the chef because the entrees we're unreal! Love the background music too. We will make a reservation next time. Yes, we are planning a next time.
Amici has been around for over 25 years and has the most creative Italian menu in the Dallas area. It is probably as close to actual fine dining Italian as you will find anywhere in the US. Every dish is thoughtfully and creatively prepared by Chef/Owner Bartolino. Great variety on the regular menu and an incredible selection of specials which usually include wild game and seasonal specialties you rarely see on Dallas menus. Service is top notch, wine list is well thought out, reasonably priced and they have an excellent bar selection. The restaurant is cozy and well decorated. Suggest you make reservations as seating is limited also parking can be difficult so allow plenty of time. It is located in Old Downtown Carrollton This restaurant is a must visit for lovers of fine Italian food.

Walked in and sat at the bar with a friend. Great service and the food was excellent for the price. I got a sense of the tradition in this long-standing restaurant, the authentic menu and knowledgeable tenured staff had to offer was exciting. I recommend the Chianti Classico with the eggplant parmigiana special.
