I’ve been going to this restaurant for many years but I’m absolutely furious now. Every single time I go, they always mess up my order. I drive there for an hour and every SINGLE time I come there they either “forget” to give my rice or my samosas or my naan. Every time they always charge me and end up not giving me my stuff and then when we call them on the phone they are RUDE. I went in today and the restaurant was absolutely disgusting and dirty and the AC was off. It was 105 degrees outside. Absolute TRASH. This used to be my favorite restaurant at one point but I do not ever plan on going there anymore.
Its just ok.Bihari Kebab 1/5Haleem - They ran outChicken Noodle Soup 1/5Chicken Puff Pastry 5/5Snacks are good, grocery store side is decent too. Restaurant quality went down
Amazing food. Great service. I’m from NYC and there we have a lot of Indian restaurants. But this restaurant was way better than that. Overall amazing !!!!!
2.6.2022Delicious Sunday breakfast/brunch.Halwa puri, nihari, maghaz and naan.Loved every bite. Just over the weekend freeze - thoroughly enjoyed the rich food. The customer service is top notch. Our server Rosie very sweet and attentive.Do go… you won’t be disappointed.
The grocery store is pretty good although it could be a bit cleaner and well managed. The restaurant side is average in the taste department. The prices are reasonable. Liked their beef boti more than anywhere else. Achari chicken was too oily.
Hands down the best Pakistani food in the DFW area. Have been going for over 19 years, and Al-Markaz has not disappointed a single time! Great place for muslim families looking for authentic Zabiha-Halal food that is phenomenal!
I would leave a zero stars if i could. The food is mediocre for the price and to make it even worse it is not even close to authentic. We were about 10 people and each of us order a different items but all the food was super oily like i saw more oil then food. The worker on the counter was very rude and took like 30 mins to checkout. the food was not very good quality and was overpriced.Service from start to finish was Awful.
This shop was recommended as best street foods in Dallas. But disappointed after eating. I got samosas, goal guppy and mix chaat. There was nothing special about any of the food. You can get it from any other desi shop. Aloo in mix chaat was raw. I may go back one more time but definitely will try other shops before.
We had Sunday morning break fast Halwa Pouri Choalay, beef nahari and naan, everything was made fresh, food was very good and tasty. ( specially Pouri hand made not store bought) Our waiter was very courteous and prompt. Their rest rooms were very tidy and clean.Al Markaz Groceries and Resturant is One of the oldest and best Resturant and grocery shopping spot in Carrollton, TX. We always enjoyed going there. Must try ????
I got mutton biriyani as carry out. The price increased from $12 to $15. The biriyani was in a small box which wasn’t even full – it was like a kid’s meal or something – you will need two boxes for one person. Before the pandemic when I used to go to eat at the restaurant their portions were pretty good. Not sure what happened – may be ownership change?
