We went today for breakfast and OH MY it was delicious. I ordered the 3 meat omelet, it was huge! My son ordered the silver dollar pancakes, it also was a big size. You won't leave hungry that's for sure. The biscuits are humongous and delicious. Lets not forget about the waitstaff thay excellent as well. This is a Must try hidden gem!
This use to be a good Restaurant. Today we went in and sat down. We ordered an appetizer which was good. We then ordered our food and 20 minutes later our waitress ask if we're ready to order. We told her we had already placed our order with her and she's like, I think we gave it to the wrong table so we reorder again. In the meantime a table of 5 which came in after us. Had there food and there eating. Mind you it's only me and my husband. After waiting another 30 minutes we still have not gotten our food. Same waitress with the party of 5. We decided to leave paying only for our drinks and appetizer.
We’ve been coming for several years as it’s one of maybe 4 decent restaurants in the area. The service has slowly gotten worse, the management is always in a foul mood, there’s consistently something wrong with our food order, and now they’re accepting children and babies AT the bar. Not in the bar area, but belly up to the bar, crying and throwing tantrums alongside other of-age adults who most likely go there for a nice time. If you say anything, you’re confronted and belittled as if you’re somehow supposed to ENJOY a cocktail (at the bar) with screaming children all around you. If I wanted this, I would go to Chuck E Cheese. This place is going downhill quickly.
We went for dinner and the Hostess/waitress seated us but then passed us alot! I asked for service after sitting for more than 5 minutes (another waitress took another order that had just sat down after us) and the actual hostess went to get another waitress to wait on us at that time after getting our drinks the manager jumped all over this poor waitress for helping us! She was a GREAT waitress even after getting on to by the manager she still helped us im glad she did cause if she didn't we would have walked out due to no service! She got a great tip as well! NOBODY deserves to be talked down to when customers are around. She followed instructions by the hostess to wait on us!
Have been there 3 times. All 3 times experienced terrible service. Food was ok but service ruined the moment. Wife asked 3 times for refill of tea and never got it. When she went to bar to request a refill the bartender said to find her waitress. We were kind and patient,, but don't think we will return and will advise friends of our experience there..I can understand being short staffed but I don't think asking for a refill would be too much trouble. Friend gave us a gift card for anniversary , gonna hang on to it and regift to some one else.
Went for Mother's Day. This was our first time here. My adult kids & I got 4 different meals and shared. EVERYTHING was AMAZING!!! Our server was very polite and fun, and made our experience great. My husband was out of town for work and was disappointed he couldn't go. Will definitely be going back again and showing off this restaurant to him!
This place is one of our favorite places to go they always have Great home cooked type food and the staff is always attentive quick and all around great service. My Sweet tea doesn't ever run out before I have another one on the table. So amazing and love the atmosphere
I’ll start with the positive, it’s a cool looking place, that’s it. We sat at the bar for dinner, it was not crowded, so the fact that the bartender couldn’t be bothered asking us if we wanted another drink was baffling. The bar top was dirty from previous customers, I guess she was too busy to wipe it (not). We ordered bbq potato skins, very greasy! We ordered Chicken Del Rio, it was extremely salty, it tasted like the chicken had been marinating for days, it literally looked like rubber chicken! This place needs a good chef and a decent menu. Disappointed, won’t be back.
Tried to call in order , Lady said too busy for that. Drove down , got the gruff treatment from hostess. ( Not a people person ) felt like an inconvenience to someone doing nothing. Found my way to bartender, nice lady working her butt off . Ordered my food , in person.Food was pretty decent. Pricey.I can't get past the way i was talked to on the phone or the way i was(n't) greeted or helped when i walked in not knowing the protocol for ordering take out.Its been a couple days. I am still bothered . I will not go back
Ehh probably not going back simply from my experience just picking the food up was extremely difficult. Is it too much to ask for to just bring the food out? Had to interrupt several conversations from the two hostesses that did not want to help me out then attempt to make awkward eye contact with the bartender until eventually having to interrupt his convo with a customer. No good for me. Won’t be back.
