A restaurant that legitimately needs to get their act together. Went there today, sign on the drive thru uses staffing shortages as an excuse to closing the drive thru line, we pull into a carhop space, push the button and they “need to inform us that they are unable to serve fried items”. It’s a sonic, almost everything they have are fried items… oh well, we’ll find somewhere else to eat.
Where do I start, I paid dam near 20 I think? Fries weren't fully cooked, but also was stale i mean hard to chew stale.... 2nd , popcorn chicken half wasn't even chicken it was the crumble left over in the bags... 3rd I ordered a bacon cheeseburger " toaster" , and well it came out mushy, aka soggy. I mean really wet bread is called toast now??? Then there was 2 inches of uncut lettuce, and drenched in mayo, then I pulled said "toaster" apart and half the hamburger patty was missing??? I mean wth??? Now to add to the fire I took a bite of my chilli cheese tater tots, and I mean htf does tater tots become hard to chew even covered in chilli sauce, and cheese.... needless say sonic standards have dropped in my opnion. I used to love em.... I hope this experience is just a fluke I would not wish this on anyone. Yes I kept my 04/16/22 receipt from alsbury location bet my butt I did .... not cool , not cool ....
Ruined the interior of my truck less than 10 seconds after handing me a leaking 44oz cherry limeade drink Mngr is refusing to fix the issue. I just want my truck cleaned. They Won't give the name of the parent company for me to submit an invoice for cleaning. Pathetic place.
Watched evening shift leader on 03/07/2022 eat bare-handed from blast toppings container as he made my blast for drive thru order, chewing throughout. At least he washed his hands and remade it when I asked him to; seemed otherwise unbothered.
To be fair to this particular Sonic most Celtics that I go to have fare to subpar service the tater tots was cold and hard. What bench seats ball or a small issue to somebody else it means a lot to the people that are paid for food to be hot when it's served in fresh what it is served to them. Despite how much it cost our house ball the item is we are paid our money for it it does mean something!
Have been here a few times to get Tea during happy hour. Great prices and everyone is nice.
After 20 years the service here has finally tanked completely. My last visit o ordered a #1 no pickle w/ mayo. Got a burger dry with just mayo. Asked for some lettuce and tomatoes. 13 minutes later recieved a bacon burger dry. Started to eat it because I didn't want to wait any longer when the manager approaches with yet a 3rd burger. I told her I had just decided to eat the 2nd burger when she demanded lethal I give it back. Needless to say I gave her both bugers, my sons entire combo and both drinks. $ 20.89 for 2 bites of a wrongly made burger when I handed it all over to Mrs. Manager and drove away. Will never go back.
Easy ordering experience, fast service, had what we wanted. Overall a stood experience with pleasant employees.
Drove out of my in the opposite direction because the sonic on elk drive was incredibly rude. But the staff on alsbury is great. They are friendly and make their customers feel appreciated. The footlong buns were a little stale but I didn't want to go back complain because they had such great service .
I'm thinking that they are learning and learning is good I agree with that so I guess I will give them a 3 star
