This one surprised us a little. All of the family liked the food that they chose. Portion sizes were good and the wife said she was giving too much.Menu variety was very good and their were options I have not seen on a TexMex menu before.Food was cooked and seasoned well. The bar area had a lot of table seating as well.Military discount. We will go back.
Fancy but prices aren't insane, just as you would expect for a nice place. The waitstaff was so incredibly attentive and accommodating. The food was great, loved my burrito, but honestly that sangria is the star of the show.
If you need an excellent, efficient place to hold an important get together event, you need to book your event at this restaurant. They get 10 stars from my experience.. The friendly serving staff was attentive and fast to wait on the 32 people in our party. They were ready, organized, and made sure we all enjoyed our time together. I highly recommend this business if you want your event to go smoothly and all things done right. I look forward to returning under the management of Jody Hamlin and Mary Bell. They both lined everything up and we all had the best time.. excellent tasting food and amazing service! This is a WInner!!!!!
Worst nachos I have had in a long time. Service was good, floors dirty and unkempt, food overpriced and mediocre at best.
Came in for a late dinner, about an hour before closing on a Friday night, as I had wanted to avoid the huge crowds. With that said, I expected far better service than I got. I was first sat at a wet table, opted to move, and then I was promptly forgotten about until I locked eyes with a manager. All of the people I interacted with seemed friendly enough, though my main waiter seemed to misunderstand my questions and comments. (Lack of customer service, especially when most of workers were huddled around a TV, is what took away a star for me.)I ordered the Margarita flight, and by far my favorites were the Miami Vice and the Mangorita. I then had the chicken and spinach enchiladas, as well as the Papas Mexicanos. Not the best I've ever had, but pretty good Tex-Mex considering the area. All in all, it was a good, satisfying experience that started not so good and ended much better.. though, I'm sure that the alcohol had the biggest influence there, if you catch my drift! ?
Very nice the food was delicious the staff was friendly and mixed drinks were top notch
We had a large family party on a Friday night & they had our table ready even before our reservation so we could sit and enjoy drinks & chips/salsa while waiting for all 22 people to arrive. We had great service, great food, & great fun. Hands down the best tasting beef fajitas, beef nachos, queso around. The bar made some wonderful mixed drinks. Always enjoy Rio Mambo….
I dined in and enjoyed every bit of my food, Great service ( thank you so much waiter Mr. Mike) and atmosphere. I will return, I recommend all to go and get some of the Food & drinks …it’s awesome Trust
Have passed Rio Mambo for years, and never stopped, because its always never been around meal time (going or coming on a trip)... Well, that stopped today. Popped off of I35, right into the parking lot. Greeted at the door by a friendly staff and quickly seated. Bright restaurant with a busy outdoor patio, that would make for a great date night, or night out with the friends or family. The selection this evening was their spinach enchilada with their crema sauce on top. Food was piping hot. Spinach was fresh. Rice and beans were lightly seasoned (could have used a bit more). The chips and salsa were wonderful. All in all a great evening meal that didnt leave me miserable for a drive down I35.
The service was great, the manager was so kind to give us a discount for family's serving in the service, however the food needs some improvement. we both ordered steak and shrimp but the steak could use some seasonsing, it was pretty bland, not much flavor. we will return and hopefully what we order is better, great atmosphere as well.
