I enjoyed this restaurant, actually ran into someone I knew which never happens in my town. The food was good & the service was really good also. A couple of comments-the door to the restaurant needs to be more clearly marked; also they seated us right in front of the door, the wind was howling & kept blowing the doors open. Not sure why they sat us there as they weren’t even close to full.
Friday night, we used the party room for a birthday party for my sister-in-law. Everything was perfect. We had nineteen people for a sit-down dinner and then played games. The waitress--Jane--was fantastic. She kept our tables filled with appetizers and managed to have all our meals arrive at the same time which means she had a great kitchen staff behind her. The food was excellent, the service was incredible, and a wonderful time was had by all thanks to the Old Texas Brewing Company's staff.
Let me lead with the four stars is because of the waiter! He had some friends at another table and we were overlooked. This is definitely a five star restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing!! Please start your experience with brisket nachos. My husband had a ribeye steak that he said was cooked perfectly. The rest of us had hamburgers that were the best we have had in a long time. We are coming back!!!
Great place to have a good meal with good choice of beers. Chesnie was fun and friendly. Had the 2 meat BBQ plate and had my fill. Highly recommend!
Had a great meal here, ordered the only steak they had available Herr which was a ribeye. Came outmedium rare the way I wanted it, and the rest of the meal was great as well. Amanda helped my wife with her gluten allergy, and although we had a minor issue with the order, she finally got her meal out and thankfully, and didn't leave a restaurant feeling bad in quite a while. No offense to the restaurant, but the server made the visit more than the establishment, hope they hang on to this young lady. Thanks for the service and the great food
Had jumbulyi it was very bad. All u could taste is the seasoning. And a bowl full off water. Waitress was slow and all they seam to do is stand in groups and talk. Won't be back not worth 60.00
We have been here quiet a few times and all has been good. On this night We were seated right away and given silverware and menus. The restaurant was not busy. There were quiet a few servers and a hostess. We sat for 20 plus minutes and no one came over. We then just left. We probably will come back but I would hope for better service. Knowing the business, number one rule is always touch base with the customer ASAP.
All it takes is one person to ruin it for the business. This girl has previously been rude and just lacked customer service but again it happens again. No “hi, how can I help you?” Or “is there something I can help you with?” If you’re working the front then you’re the first person that anyone interacts with. Young blonde girl who seems to typically work the front at the register.
We love OTB! Amanda is the best waitress! She knows her regulars and always has a smile on her face. Food is great and staff like Amanda keep us coming back week after week!
Really cool place with great food. We were there for a birthday party so we were in the 2nd floor skybar. They had a live band playing that was really good. Had several bartenders behind the bar so service was fast, never waited there for more than a minute before someone was assisting me. Highly recommend this place for a fun Friday or Saturday night.
