So the youth group from my church stopped both coming and going to camp. Going, we were in a private room and had I think three servers. Food was very good I sampled the tater tots with chili and cheese. I had the grilled shrimp salad with the honey mustard dressing. Top rate! Coming, we were seated in the railed off platform area because the Lions Club was meeting in the room. The server let us know she was there by herself for both groups. Still we were very well served!! This time I had the chicken spinach salad with the honey mustard dressing. While I the chicken was tasty and recommended, I'd go for the shrimp. I also had the t tater tots with cheese and bacon bits no chili. Again all I would recommend them, if I were ordering I would order with the chili. No Frills Grill does have an arcade which the church use enjoyed greatly. There are also TV screens around the main room that have various Sports programs on them. I suspect we'll be back there to eat on the way to Camp again next year.
What a great lunch! Everything was perfect. Our server was friendly and my grilled chicken spinach salad was delicious. My husband highly recommends the turkey twister with fries. We had forgotten about this place since the pandemic, I'm so glad we're back!!
My family and I first experience here. We sat ourselves we wanted a booth but all were dirty or taken. Sat down at a table and were ignored over and over. No one took our drinks or even gave us a menu. Not even anyone said hey we will be with you in a moment, nothing. Watched another family come in and get service right away a table away from us. After a few moments we walked out to go elsewhere where we could actually get service.
This place is nice. Friendly staff. Stay away from the margaritas though. Frozen and premixed. They are nasty. Does not taste like there's any alcohol in them and is so sickeningly sweet. I almost barfed. Try the house margarita instead that's made by the bartender. A couple of bucks more but it is way better.
Definitely awesome bacon burger with curly fries. In the top 10% of burgers I’ve ever had IMO. My wife loved the catfish poboy sandwich. Great prices. Great service.
Do not plan a large party here. They will take your reservation, and then not contact you if there is a problem. So you arrive to find that someone else is going to use that space and they will try to shove 50+ people into a tiny party room. The manager and owner were rude when asked about it. Had to cancel the event but still had to pay our scheduled entertainment.Also, the place is generally dirty. The floor and tables are usually sticky and the restrooms are gross.The staff turns over quickly and they aren't adequately trained. Makes you wonder if they treat them badly or don't pay enough.We used to go there weekly, but not anymore.
My wife and some of her ladies group (used to) visit No Frills in Burleson most Tuesday evenings after their meeting. They arranged some weeks back for the whole group, 40 plus members, to host a Valentines Karaoke night here. Obviously a no go on actual VDay, so they opted for this past Monday. They hired and agreed to pay a well known local Karaoke guy, and had it all arranged. On the day, the Karaoke guy arrived to set up his equipment and was told he couldn't set up in the original agreed area. The alternative offered was not nearly big enough. Apparently "someone" had taken a booking for a birthday party. So in spite of the pre-booking and the fact they still had to pay the Karaoke guy, speaking to the manager, as well as the owner did absolutely nothing. Their very rude attitude was "too bad, so sad". So this dive makes so much money, they can turn away a guaranteed crowd of more than 40 all drinking and many eating. For what? Oh, and BTW, the place is filthy, the floors and tables sticky, the bathrooms a disgrace. What a dump.Avoid it like the plague. Only gave it 1 star because Google doesn't accept 0 stars on reviews.
First time here and it was nice. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak but it lacked any kind of flavor. The rest of the food was good. My boyfriend finished everything he ordered so it had to be good. Our server was awesome!!
Stopped in for bloody marys and let me tell you, these are the best I've had in a long time! We asked for spicy and Sky more than delivered. It was good and hot but still had a TON of flavor. There's nothing whimpy about her bloody marys. Ask Sky to make you one , you'll be happy you did.
