We have been driving by this restaurant for a year now. Today, we finally decided to eat lunch there. The menu consists of a variety of burgers, hot dogs, and fries. The restaurant is a quaint, little place on the side of FM 1187 in Burleson with outside dining only under a covered patio.Why did we wait until now to eat here!! Fresh burgers made to order with a Great taste. I almost ordered another cheeseburger! Fries were seasoned with just a right amount of seasoning, not an overload on the sodium. However, the tea was very very sweet but one would say it’s how we like tea in Texas.Myrtle’s is my new go to for hamburgers. The restaurant is opened from 11am - 5pm, closed Sunday and Wednesday. They have 2 more items I am dying to try and that’s their Brisket “Bobby” burger and their chicken sandwich. I don’t think I will be disappointed.
I got a double cheese burger and tater tots. The Burger was one of the best Burgers in have ever had. The tater tots were really good also. Service was SUPER they made you feel welcome.
Last Monday, my husband & I went to Myrtle’s for the first time, and it was out of this world good. Food & service was spot on. Now the reason for only 3 stars, the following Saturday, we went back, with some family, since we had told so many people about how good the burgers are at Myrtle’s, it was around 3pm, and they were closed! No signage as to why, since they’re supposed to be open until 5pm on Saturday. Bummer. So, my husband & I decided to go back today, it was about 11:30 am (they are supposed to open at 11am) and lo & behold, they’re closed again! No signage, nothing. We were so disappointed because the drive from our home is a special trip and a bit of a drive. We don’t know what to think, we read a post about checking Facebook before going to Myrtle’s, but we don’t do Facebook. There has to be another way to alert customers to not make a trip for nothing. Y’all have a great place, with fantastic food, but I don’t know if we will chance it again, after 2 trips for nothing.
We haven’t been to Myrtle’s in a long time. Shame on us !!! Today we had the Best Burgers I have had in a long time definitely Texas size. .Great service and very nice people . We will be back I am going to have to try the mushroom Swiss Burger ! ??❤️
First time patronizing this place and it will definitely be my last time as well. As I was driving from Mansfield I saw what looked like a good spot for a good homestyle burger so I stopped for a quick bite for lunch. What a regret!!! I was sick with heart burn all night. I couldn’t even eat anything else after eating this burger. I tried drinking water all night to get rid of the heavy feeling. I will definitely not be back. No stars given.
Went for my son's birthday. Food was great. Service great. A really nice day out.Highly recommend.
If you're a burger connoisseur then this is a place for you. The burgers here are amazing along with the fresh cut fries. The prices are very affordable.There's only outdoor seating with picnic tables. If that's not for you then you can use the walk up or drive through.

Went there today for the first time and was not impressed. I was really hoping it would be a great burger place. My wife went there previously and told me the burgers are pretty big and good. But after we ordered this time today September 17, 2021. We got tater tot‘s that were all mushed and smash like patties and we got our sweet teas that you couldn’t even taste the tea only water down sugar. It was pretty gross. The only decent thing we got was the hamburgers which were mediocre at best.I hope this post doesn’t discriminate you guys but increase your food quality at best. Keep improving, I’ll try you next year.
Omg SOOO good!! I got the bacon cheese burger with fries and large drink (which was really big). My boyfriend got the cheeseburger with fries large drink and we both were super full but couldn’t stop eating lol. Highly recommended!
