Moontower pizza has seriously BIG pizzas. Bigger doesn't always mean the quality is the same. Not so at Moontower pizza. Their GINORMOUS pizzas taste so good. I love their cheese pizza and sausage and cheese pizza.Moontower is also dog friendly for their outdoor seating which is shaded and not miserable even in the Texas heat.
Not the biggest fan. They don't use any tomato sauce (or maybe very light sauce). My takeout experience wasn't the best either. They handed my pizzas to me fairly quickly, but I still waited like 10min (with pizzas in hand) to sign my receipt at the bar. Granted the bar was very busy. Someone else (not the bartender) ended up giving me my receipt to sign. I feel like that process can be optimized. I won't be back.
We enjoyed the variety of pizzas and the fact that they were not excessive on the tomato sauce. In fact I do not believe my pizza had any which was great being it I cannot eat much with my acid reflux.We enjoyed the environment and my kids loved the pizza. My parents loved the escargot! YESS Y'ALL, they had ESCARGOT!!!
We stopped by Moontower for lunch during our stay at Jellystone. This place is a find! It seems unsuspecting but we are so glad we stopped by! The pizza was delicious and they had options for everyone. The drinks were STRONG. I thought for sure the frozen drinks would be weak and a waste but they packed a punch and were delicious!! You can also get them to go!! Our server had just enough sarcasm and helped ensure we had everything we needed. We even had enough for leftovers for dinner. Good gem!!
OMG! DELICIOUS!Being from Austin the Moontower is almost a symbolic thing or landmark.I love old downtown burleson and MoonTower is perfect here.The pizzas are very flavorful and they don't skimp out on the ranch when you ask for itA definite must try!I personally recommend the BBQ chicken pizza...
Today was our first time eating at Moontower. The pizza was wonderful! We will definitely be back.Even though it's considered a bar, during the day it is definitely family friendly. A little girl was having her birthday party today. They ordered the 30 inch pizza!

It was ok. I called ahead of time and asked if the gluten free crust was thin crust and they said no, surprise it is lol. The dough wasn’t cooked all the way, all the toppings were in the middle, there was almost no sauce, and the cheese was rubbery. Honestly it’s only $5 less than dominos for my families order so not really worth it imo.
Pizza was just ok. Service was very nice for just picking up food. Looked very relaxed inside. Probably won't go back just due to it being comparable to pizza hut pizza to us. Crust was better, but the main part of the pizza was lacking flavor and was greasy. My husband's stomach couldn't handle it. We tried three different types of pizza, Hawaiian, Pepperoni, and the Buffalo chicken
I enjoy this spot for their friendly service and great drinks. The pizza can be hit or miss at times but when it's good it's very good.
