Disgustingly dirty restaurant and pizza burnt to a crisp. I never leave reviews but I have to this time. I seriously don't understand how a restaurant can be this nasty. Let's start with the lack of cleanliness first. We would not have eaten there if we had seen the condition of the dining area before ordering. We came through the door and got straight in line so we didn't see how gross it was until it was too late. We were one of three families eating there, tons of open tables, and yet there was not one single clean table to sit at. I had to wipe a table down myself. Parmesan cheese and trash all of the tables and floor, ice exploding out of the fountain drink area, straw wrappers, napkins, and soda spilled all over the floors and door to leave. Trash was overflowing. Everything was sticky. It was seriously disgusting. There were 5 employees just standing around chatting and not one of them was attempting to clean. Now the food... we order 5 pizzas and all 5 were sooo burnt! Not a little burnt from being cooked in the pizza oven but literally black and hard as a hockey puck. We couldn't taste anything but burnt crust and one of them was so hard we couldn't bite through the crust. So $70 later and it was not even edible. We went and got food somewhere else.
This particular MOD pizza has its ups and downs. It seems to be directly related to staffing levels. Some days you will come in and a single person is working the prep station and long lines will form. On these same days, you will also see overflowing trash and a lack of overall cleanliness in the front area. With that said, some days they are spotless and everything is nice. On both types of days, the food is consistently good. I’ve not had a bad order here.
Although we did not eat there tonight as planned I want to give a shout out to the patient young staff! There were only three employees there no manager and they were very patient with difficult customers who obviously never worked in the service industry and were very rude about the situation. Still love mod pizza and we will stop by another time.
Absolutely loved this place!!! I tried it first because I found out that they make vegan pizzas. The place is clean, open, and has a good atmosphere. The employees are also super friendly. The pizza itself is the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Once we discovered this place, we’ve been revisiting every week. Must try!!
Very good pizza. I created my own BBQ, bacon, chicken, onion pizza. Their salads are a good size and good as well. They have cool drink options. I like their blackberry lemonade. Pricey.
I had a good overall experience. I love this concept in fast-casual. I would recommend checking the menu and options out before you go. Too many options can be overwhelming if you're new to this place. Dining room was clean and the staff was friendly. PIZZA: this is neapolitan style pizza so expect different than American style. Outside rim was well cooked, center was a bit undercooked but still good. I'll be back.
One of the best pizzas I have ever had. Favor and size is one point. Service is awesome and the little pies are simply amazing.
My husband and I went last night excited to try MOD pizza for the first time. Unfortunately, we were let down. The guy at the counter who helped us was very helpful and friendly. He even gave us a free “No Name” dessert. Once we got home and picked up a slice of pizza you could instantly tell the dough was soggy and not fully cooked in the middle. Unfortunately I had to toss my pizza after trying to eat one slice since it was very raw. The pictures are for reference. You can see the uncooked dough at the bottom (what looks like cheese). Maybe they’re “Superfast” but now I see why…
Please clean this place out. It’s so sad to see good chain pizza place with 5 stars but has staff who don’t clean the place or wipe tables. What the heck! This is Covid-19 and they are not wiping tables, chairs, drink counters, and everything is a mess there. I’m afraid to use restroom there that I didn’t even try to go.
