I placed an order to go for pick up.. order was right but the potato soup was spoiled! I smelled it after taking a bite and about gagged! The uncrustable kids peanut butter and jelly was so old and dried out that my toddler wouldn’t eat it. I buy those all the time so I know how soft and moist they can be.. So 2 of my to go items were not edible!!!
What happened to McAlisters? I ordered a Grilled Chicken Caesar salad with extra caesar dressing, a grilled chicken sandwich on a croissant with extra honey mustard dressing and a caesar side salad. The Dinner sized salad used to come in a large plastic take out container (enough for 2 meals), but NOW it is a small salad that comes in a small cardboard container...REALLY? Who wants to eat out of cardboard??? Especially for the price of $10!! It is half the size it used to be. Now, the grilled chicken sandwich that was supposed to have extra honey mustard dressing. It used to also come in a plastic container with a pickle. Now it comes wrapped in paper, and No Dressing. Yes they did send a tiny container of the honey mustard, but how are you supposed to put the dressing on when the cheese is melted to the bread (which was already falling apart). Totally ridiculous!!! I will Never eat there again!!!
Great food, great atmosphere, great service. I took a first date there to eat and talk. We talked for almost 4 hours. The staff kept checking on us and refilling our drinks. We felt welcome great whole time. Plus the tortilla soup is awesome.
Nice variety of options for lunch. The sweet tea with peach is my favorite drink there.
I did a half soup and half salad and both I could have made better at home. The tortilla soup barely had chicken and it was separating as of it was days old.
There needs to be at least one adult there at all times. I was picking up an order that had been placed already for 25 minutes. I had to wait another 15 in store so I waited to use the bathroom after a worker was in there forever doing things she shouldn’t be during work hours.I came in again the other day around 6:30 and there were 2 blondes and a short brunette that were just standing there talking and would not come to the register even though I made direct eye contact with all of them. They all had really bad attitudes and the brunette just threw the pickup orders on the shelf like it was nothing. Everytime I come during these hours, the teen girls are always so rude to me. Get some more responsible workers instead of people who want to get paid for standing there.
The first time we tried this location, we got a bread bowl with mold on it. The second time we ordered curbside pickup, which was never brought to our car. We had to go inside to get it, so we won’t be returning.
Placed an order on 1/27/2022 on their website for delivery. Instead of one of my $8 sandwich’s I received an UNCRUSTABLE inside of a sandwich box. The salad was also old and wilted, but I ate it anyway and got sick afterwards. I called to get a refund for the missing sandwich and the girl forwarded me to the “manager” the manager said they’d refund me later…. I was sceptical, but said ok, and he said I should see it in my account when I asked if they’d send an email. Never got a refund. Not going to be giving my business here anymore because they basically stole my money because I did not receive what I payed for.I’ve also had previous issues with mold on fruit in the past, and one time the bacon was completely raw. Should have stopped ordering then.
The food was delicious, but the signage is terrible. My wife and I wanted the $8.29 deal where you get a half portion of 2 different options. Sounded good , but the bill was quite a bit higher than we expected. When questioning why, we found out that 3 of the 4 items we had selected had an upcharge associated with them. We had asked if all the options were included in the $8.29 deal, and they said they were. If I'd had a magnifying glass, I would have seen the little notice, but it's very poor advertising of a 'deal.'
Great place for a sandwich and potato! I change it up occasionally but here’s my chicken salad sandwich and veggie potato (minus the cheese sauce)
