I’ve loved Mama’s pizza for over 40 years way back to Berry St and Camp Bowie locations. I was excited to see one open in Burleson but at times the sauce doesn’t taste the same. My kids even noticed. My main concern is with the manager. He always has an attitude! He doesn’t seem to want customers!
After reading a couple of Yelp reviews I was weary about going to Mama’s pizza. I had never been and decided to make my own judgement and go for it. From the moment we opened the door to the moment we left the door we received absolutely amazing customer service. We ordered the Supreme and it was so delicious. We will definitely be going back.
I watched as everyone who came before us left with pizzas. The manager asked us about our order twice. Its been way over the time given. Our other orders git cpld waiting 45 minutes for a medium pizza when you hardly have customers us not rught. Not returning. No apologies from anyone.
This place is a joke. Called to order a couple pizzas no one answers the phone. So decided to go online to order of course you have to download an app. Got The app downloaded place my order it provided me a confirmation number. I showed up to pick my pizzas up 45 minutes later. Stared at the back of some kids head behind the register for a couple minutes before he decided to turn around and acknowledge me. I'll let him know I was there to pick up an order and showed him my phone with the screenshot of the order and the order number. He stated their systems aren't linked with the app so he can't look it up by order number. That's just great.. Good job your company uses a worthless app! I asked him if he could check in the back then and see if the pizzas I ordered were sitting to be picked up he said other people may have ordered the same pizza so he couldn't give me a pizza that was ready even though I had a screen shot of the order showing what pizzas I ordered. What a circus act I walked out went to Marcos across the street and had barely enough time to write this review while my Marcos pizzas were made.
Let me just start off by saying, I love mamas pizza...the pizza that is. I know it's a coronie pandemic and places are short staffed but for me to dine In and wait 54min for 1 pizza is a bit extreme. You should have told me there was an hr wait time and I would have went else were. This trip was very disappointing.
FANTASTIC fresh hot pizza. We are so glad Mama's came to Burleson. I love the customer service too. They acknowledge you immediately and in a friendly manner.
Give it a chance. I'll admit I've never been a big fan of this chain, but my husband wanted to try the new location near our house. Everywhere we go these days seems to be short staffed, and this place was no exception. At one point I counted 12 occupied tables, and only one of them had food on it. To be fair, they did warn us and quoted a wait time of 1hr 15 minutes. We received our food after about 55 minutes, and it was worth the wait! The pizza was hot, cheesy, and delicious. Best pizza I've had from Mama's. The wings were saucy and equally flavorful, but were barely warm as if they were cooked earlier and had to sit and wait on the pizza. Had they been the right temp they would've been bomb. I'd probably recommend ordering ahead of time to avoid the wait, but my family agreed it was worth it, so we'll definitely eat here again.
Excellent pizza, we've been several times in the last couple of months and it is consistently good. Sometimes a bit longer of a wait to be served but worth it. Every pizza tastes fresh and perfect, never burnt anywhere on it. Honestly, this is our first choice in pizza now, and it used to be my hubs wanted nothing but P Hut.
Super friendly staff. Always get what I need and it's fresh and delicious.
This Burleson location needs to really reevaluate their business. I placed an order tonight for pick up, was told the wait would 30-45mins. Got to the restaurant to pick up the order, and was told it wasn’t ready yet. Obviously the order had not even been made after 45mins when we got there, because after waiting another 20mins we asked about it and was told “they just put it in the oven. I asked to talk to the manager and was told “we are very busy and other people are waiting too.” And the girl I was speaking with didn’t understand why I was upset by the fact that I had placed the order over an hour prior, and told it would be ready within 45mins, but yet after an hour the pizza was just finally being made. Ended up taking almost 1.5hrs to receive the pizza with nobody trying to fix the issue. Don’t order from here. Worthless.
