I ordered brisket tacos and they were supposed to be accompanied with diced onion, cilantro, and habenero (which I did not desire the peppers) but did not decline them. Pieces of lime were provided and don’t tell me they don’t know the difference. Barely a whiff of “white cheese” that was supposedly between the tortillas, and the tortillas were dry and hard on edges. The rice was as dry as the Mojave in summer and the brisket wasn’t much moister. I think they only deserve 1 star but the water was cold and wet. I know without a doubt they had the last of my business, especially because of the price/portion sizes.
Morgan was our server last night and was super attentive. The food took about 20 mins but was delicious. I love that Morgan offered us to sample their meat selections. The brisket flautas were so good 10/10. The margarita wasn't all that but decent. The vibe is very cute and family friendly. Quite busy for a Friday, they do close 9:30pm.
This was my favorite restaurant before COVID, they’ve removed many favorites from the menu, Tamales especially! Everything tastes like fast food Mexican now, I won’t be back until something changes…sad
First time here and wont be back.Took OVER 30 mins for our food to come out (we had fajitas) and when it DID come out the rice and beans were HARD and never got the sour cream and cheese.Told the manager about it, all he said was "I can get if freshly made for you" umm... wasnt it already supposed to be fresh AND you want me to wait again. I walked out. Wont be back.
The Margaritas are amazing, and the food was outstanding too! The GM and server were very personable, and catered to our every need. The service could not be beat, and the food and drinks will keep you coming back for more.
#COCKROACH.....If we could give zero star we would. I took my wife here for our fifth anniversary, this was not our first time eating here. Two bites into our food a roach fell from the light fixture above our table and into the rice. My wife had to catch it and kill it so we could showed the manager. When the manager arrived all he said was well we have them come spray Tuesday and Friday and he said but what can you do. It left us in shock he had zero remorse as if this happens often. He then asked if would like our meals made fresh. We said no, our waitress shows more concerned and felt horrible so we tipped her but will NEVER COME BACK............Im sure there will be some ridiculous excuse as every. Manager comes up with. looking forward to the response
This is our favorite go-to place for Mexican food in Burleson! If you want a good steak this is the place! The shrimp and margaritas are great too! Love the Jaime Margaritas or the Black Pearl margarita!! Brianna is our favorite server and we ask for her every time we go!
Absolutely my favorite Mexican restaurant. Never had anything that wasn’t great! Hot sauce is awesome!
Walked in was immediately greeted!! ❤?❤?Handed a menu and told when i knew what i wanted which counter to go to to order!! So incredibly helpful. I was a newbie today. ?❤? had a seat and figured out from a pretty good sized menu what i wanted and stepped to the counter. Was told she can take your order give her just a min. ?❤?❤? when she got off the phone she took my order. Told me i could pay now or wait til my order was done. And i could wait or go run errands or hang out in there or in my car til my order was ready. ❤?❤? was told my order would be ready and approximate amt of time and that id receive a text and could come up to the counter when i received the text. ❤❤?❤?❤? thank you all for being so kind so helpful. And let me tell you the food is amazing!! So is the queso and the enchiladas and the nachos and it was all so good!! I will be back here!!❤❤❤????
The service here is fast and friendly. The salsa is a little off putting. It claims to be smoked, but it honestly tasted like it had barbecue sauce mixed in with it. The enchiladas were very similar to the kind in the frozen section of your grocery store. The most memorable part of the meal was the margarita. What can I say to convey the utter disappointment found in what should have been a delightful beverage? If Wal-Mart served mixed drinks, this is the margarita they would serve. Make of that what you will.
