It has been so hard to find a place that serves authentic Tex/Mex style food. Then we found Suzy’s Tacos! I have now tried almost everything and nothing has disappointed! I usually judge a place on one item at first and that Garne Guisada. You see there are two kinds: brown gravy and red. Now, I don’t mind red but it’s mostly because that what most places serve since it’s more traditional. But my favorite is brown. It’s more Tex/mex and reminds me of my mom and GMa’s cooking. So, when this place served me brown I knew I found my new place! Then I tasted it. Perfection!Now not everything is “perfect” taste wise but at the very least it’s good!Try the green chile!!
I am a big fan of shopping local and supporting my local businesses. We wanted to try this place for quite sometime. The food truck was in front of the owner's house. I opted for Chilaquiles. Perhaps I am a little spoiled from eating Mexican food growing up in San Antonio. This plate did not come with any tortillas at all. I know some places will offer it with and some will not. I thought I would have at least gotten two to make Chilaquiles tacos. The traditional Chilaquiles does not come with eggs because that is Migas. The corn tortillas were cooked, but soggy. I had hoped they would have smothered them in some sort of sauce. They were just in the box with shredded white cheese on top that was not even melted. The refried beans were bland. The potatoes were crispy, but did not have enough seasoning. They did give me two pieces of bacon that was excellent. The salsa was flavorful and not too spicy. I had hoped for a little more with my Chilaquiles. Perhaps, this is the way Susy's serves it. The food was descent, but could have a bit a tad bit better.
Fresh, friendly, and fast. Great breakfast tacos. Tortillas are delicious. Stayed open during the snow in 2021 and kept people fed.
The yummiest little taco truck! Prices are just right, customizable, FRESH (I could hear them scrambling my eggs!) and fast. Very happy to have this spot close by, with friendly staff!

I had seen this place off the road a few times and barely so because they got flashing “open” signs posted on poles. It’s off the main road and in what seems a residential area and yard. Don’t be discouraged though this place is phenomenal! They have a large menu and array of items. Menudo/pozole, plates with rice and beans, tacos, breakfast tacos, tortas.I ordered the chicken fajita gorditas and flautas. They were amazing. The gorditas were in a nice sized corn pocket that was crispy and fluffy and stuffed nicely with spicy flavorful chicken, some veggies, and cheese. The accompanying refried beans were very flavorful and the rice was good.The flautas were also very good as my wife devoured them. She said the rice and beans were very tasty.I also ordered a barbacoa taco on a flour tortilla and the barb tacos was so good! The meat was not greasy and was full of great flavors! The tortilla was flat and nothing special.The available salsa were also good. The green salsa is very spicy so beware. The red salsa is great and the right amount of spicy.I will be back to try additional plates like the carne guisada plate, the menudo, and the bistek tacos.This place accepts cards and cash.
The food was very authentic and very very delicious, small family-owned kitchen set up in front of their house, with a small window you should wait at to order. It's a small kitchen and the food is freshly made so expect the slight delay when waiting for large orders. Hands down the best Mexican food in Buda or Kyle
My friend Sean told me about this place & its Great food and very nice staff also very clean. The tacos being marked helps as well thanks see ya agian

Awesome taco spot! I was so happy to stumble on Susy's Tacos, everything was delicious and cooked fresh. The portions were generous and the workers were very friendly. HIGHLY recommend Susy's Tacos!
