My husband and I stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday. Having heard good things about Hat Creek, but never have been to one, we thought we would give it a try. After we ordered our meal, we started noticing how dirty the tables and floors were.When they brought out our food, they didn't bring us our shakes. When we walked back up, I had to wait while employees were joking and laughing. Our fries were cold, when we complained, we again had to wait.The only reason I didn't give a one star review is because the burgers were pretty good.
I'm from out of town and was here in Buda on a work trip. As I walked from the hotel to Chilli's (my original plan for dinner), the smell of this place caught my attention so I redirected. I'm so glad I did! The food was fresh and delicious! I had the Southwest burger bowl with sweet potato fries. Plus they have these sauces that easily rank up to Chick Fila sauces. And of course it's so fun to see all the kids run around in the "backyard." Definitely will recommend to others who come to the Austin/Central TX area.
I got the Sombrero burger meal, and it was delicious and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients! Staff is SUPER nice and Super fast! Also these have become my new favorite fries! Super crispy!!!! Must try!!!
The build-out and the playgrounds are awesome. However, the food leaves a lot to be desired. The original was amazing, not sure where they can't replicate at the other locations
Good burger, good sauces. Hot tots and fast service. Tables were filthy however.
No flavor , fries hard and almost cold tables dirty. Recommend they throw the lunch fries and cook fresh fries after the lunch rush
I just had the little hat burger with cheese and was blown away with how tasty this was. The vegetables were extremely crisp and fresh! The pickles were not your average hamburger pickles. They were like grandma used to make! The bun was grilled to perfection, a perfect burger!!
We keep this one in our burger rotation. Never had a bad experience or disliked anything about our meal. Staff is very friendly. Love the sauce and beer selection too!
Surprisingly delicious and the fries are something to dream about. We got it delivered after moving in and I must note that it was cold (delivery company issues not Hat Creeks fault). I note that it was cold because it was absolutely delicious cold, which means that when we go back and get to have it hot it's going to be even better. The burger is HUGE and more than I expected. There was no lettuce or tomato on the classic, so read the fine print. The meat is well cooked and juicy, grilled onions, the bun holds up well. I like that they have cheese options, I love cheddar and prefer it to American. Now let's talk fries!!! The seasoning is fire and so perfect. They're smaller close to shoe string, however not quite there completely. I'm usually frustrated with cold fries but these were so amazing. They also have tater tots that are delicious and I had a chocolate shake that was pretty basic as shakes come but yummy. We will definitely go in person to try it next time we want a burger
very friendly, fresh hot food. nice environment for adults and children. just need more oreo's for shakes, yall were out and I wanted one. good ice. nice and clean tables, didn't have to clean our table before eating.
