I was recommended this place by someone and it had good reviews so I decided to try it today. I was serverly disappointed. I ordered two different burgers and the large fries. The fries we not good and very plain, only tasted decent with the salt and pepper added with ketchup. The burgers were good size but there was nothing special about them. They didn't taste very good in my opinion. After trying different burger options around the area, these burgers definitely are definitely not up to par. Maybe the good reviews are for breakfast items? But I won't be back to try and find out.
I hadn't been to Dan's in a while, but the service and the food are still the best! I had a small double meat double cheese burger and it is just to die for! I also had the onion rings and they are some of the best I've ever had! I made my husband get the fries too because they are so good!! And the thing that is so incredible is that everyone that works there is friendly and kind and good at their job. I won't wait so long to go back again. Love the Dan's in Buda!!!!!
I had a 5 star burger surrounded by 3 star fries and onion rings. The double meat burger was a good size and a great taste. The salad on the burger was fresh and crisp. When you come here you need to ensure you don't let the average tasting sides distract you from the burger and the salad on the burger. I bought a burger with no bun so I tasted each of the ingredients individually and as a whole. The tomato was amongst the most flavorful I have ever eaten.

I have at least one of Dan's hamburgers every week. They are the great old-fashioned burgers that we long for these days. They also serve tasty curly fries and onion rings. This restaurant is decorated in the 50s style, and has a drive-thru for convenience. They also offer breakfast, chicken fried steak, and BLT sandwiches. You won't be disappointed!
Went to dans this evening whoa dissatisfied burger was cold it took over 30 minutes to get a burger still great taste I hope it's just a bad day
Had lunch with the family, ordering was quick. The diner environment was nice, the burgers were juicy and a nice size. The BLT had a nice amount of bacon, and my wife and son liked the milkshake. The fries and chicken strips were good, but the gravy needed pepper and hot sauce as it was bland for us. Overall good food and friendly staff, we'll be back.
We enjoyed a good breakfast at Dan's, with a very pleasant and efficient wait-staff. Breakfast tacos, sausage bisquit, sausage & gravy, and eggs & toast were all very good. Coffee good as well. Highly recommended.
Good food, fast service, wanted sweet tea, but they only had half a cup's worth available at the self serve and had to settle for an Arnold Palmer..found out after the fact that they would have finished filling it behind the counter , and they put pickles on my plate with my grilled cheese sandwich which I don't like pickles and the juice soaked into part of my bread?, but I just pinched that part off and ate the rest instead of complaining. I didn't have to cook so that made my night ✌️?
This place has amazing service (Buda location) I had to get on here and post a review because it is well deserved. Everyone is always so happy and friendly. They double checked our to go order in front of us, they made sure we had everything and everyone is so busy and wearing a million hats, but always smiling. Every experience there has always been great. :)
