Aye man, check it out. It’s been about a year since I last had some “What’s the Deal Barbecue” since I moved out of town. Listen at me now, that barbecue is GOOD. I bought a half a pound of brisket, pound of ribs, and a pound of sausage on a Saturday for myself and a few family members. Everything was amazing. Good stuff y’all!
Tried the chop brisket sandwich with baked beans and my fiancé has the sliced brisket with the potato salid. In my opinion you know that meat is cooked to perfection if there's no need for sauce. Sauce should be an extradition, BJ did just though. The brisket was not only moist but extremely flavorful. I absolutely recommend
We had What’s the Deal BBQ cater our home going event for my FIL. This place was professional from the beginning to the end. The customer service was awesome, they were on time dropping off the food, and the food was so delicious the guest kept asking where we catered the food from. That brisket was so tender and juicy. If we have another event in the Bryan/CS area, we are definitely going with what’s the deal BBQ…
Real Texas Bbq. The turkey and brisket is the truth with baked beans and yams. I'm from Brooklyn, NY. This was my first real Texas Bbq. The staff are wonderful. I'll be back for the chicken.
Hands down best BBQ we’ve had in years!! You can tell BJ and his crew really care about their customers and their cooking. We will definitely be finding him on the weekends!
I was very happy with everything. I have the sleeve so when I eat I want it to be good. Potato salad was the BOMB. Brisket was awesome andsausage. All was fresh and moist. I haven't had good BBQ since my friend Johnny's Bbq has been gone. I cant believe anyone would give yall a bad review cause over all your food is amazing???
Have eaten here several of times great food and wonderful staff. I highly recommend this BBQ place!

I tried out What's Tha Deal BBQ for the first time today. Got the three meat plate (brisket, ribs, and chicken) with potato salad and candied sweet potatoes as sides.Great portions with all the meats smoked to perfection! I prefer to get the meats without any sauce on them, and didn't know they would be served sauced up. The sauce was sweet, but I prefer a sauce with more bite, so this was the only thing I'd opt not to get next time. Honestly, with the nice smoky taste and tender meats, no sauce is really needed.
