Nice neighborhood bar. Better than average food. Pretzels, fried cheese curds, and fish and chips are all good.
A great place to relax after a stressful day at work. The food is great. The only complaint is they didn't serve frozen drinks. The staff were very friendly.
We didn't go inside for our first visit so I can't comment on the inside but their small patio is nice. They're dog friendly and we had efficient service. As soon as we walked up a server pointed out available seating, brought us a menu, and offered to bring a water bowl for the dogs. We tried a couple martinis that were good. They have several of the common big name beers. We didn't try the food this visit either but there were several options to choose.
It's a small neighborhood spot with a bar and several tables and chairs around it for groups, etc. It's not a big place so don't go expecting something huge. Depending on the size of your group you may want to call them first and they'll put some tables together for you. If you just show up on a Friday night with a large group and expect to be seated right away you will be disappointed so don't do it and save yourself the grief. It can also get kind of loud because once again it's a small place and it's also a bar so don't complain about loud voices and bad language... It's a BAR, not a bookstore. There's a great thing about this place that I really enjoy, they don't allow children and babies inside even when accompanied by adults. Some people have an issue with this but there's absolutely no place for children and babies at bars or even restaurant/bars so stop bringing your kids out. Leave them at home or with a sitter! They have no business out for drinks and dinner. No one wants to see or deal with your kids while they're out having drinks and dining out, it's as simple as that. Now that I got that out of the way, we'll move on to the rest. The service here is very good. The bartenders are friendly and fast and the servers are great too. That being said it can get very crowded and loud so don't expect a 5 star experience. If you communicate properly with your server or bartender they will get you taken care of. But please understand, there are many other people in here trying to do the same thing you are so be patient and everything will go fine. The food is the best thing here. They have a Rueben sandwich, a burger, fish n chips, and a few other appetizers and dinner items. They don't have alot of items but the ones they do have are EXCELLENT and that's all that matters. The Rueben Sandwich is the best and the fish n chips are great too. The prices here are average for the great quality they serve. My bill was about $100 for 2 people drinking alot and eating for two and I gladly tipped an additional $30. Overall a great experience and given all the info I have just reported you should have a great time also.
Fantastic food and cocktails!
While the food was good there was a crowd and it was loud I already had a headache this only made it worse. So go knowing it might be loud and hard to hear the person sitting next to you. I had a burger and chilli both were good and three others at my table had fish and chips and said it was really good. The only true knock I have on the place is choice non alcholic drinks. They only had sweet tea and only diet drink was diet coke. Being diabetic I chose water as I do not like diet coke. I still recommend the place as the food is good
Nothing special, but a decent sports bar. The reuben sandwich and the burger were pretty good. Very few beers on tap.
Val, Anna, and Terra behind the bar are some of the best bartenders and overall people to share an afternoon with. Great conversationalists, and knowledgeable about their work. This is a bar to be a regular at. This is a bar where they remember you and your orders. This is simply a great bar. I recommend the Tilted Pasta with fried chicken and buffalo sauce, I know it sounds weird but it's a great combo.
