Rey very bad service me an all my family went in June 11th 2022 it was a lot of us the person working told us as we walked in that they couldn’t serve us there was too many supposedly but there was a big table full of people an other tables also there was tables or booths empty we could of sat separately an could of waited as long as we needed to but it wasn’t even brought to our attention if we wanted to wait or sit separately nothing just told us they couldn’t serve us as we r leaving more people r walking in I was so pissed it never happened to us but I guess that shows the service they have it’s sad also they said they just opened but no reason to not serve us . Very very bad service I was not happy
My wife and I went and I had the steak and she had a burger. The food was "ok", the steak was not the greatest and my wife's hamburger she said was just "ok" as well. I feel like a place that's as hidden as this, the food would be a bit better. This restaurant has been around a long time so maybe they were having a bad night.
Great little place. Good food. Decent prices. Can be busy around lunch time.
I had a phily cheese sandwich. It was short on the cheese. Have been able to keep it down.
I was slightly disappointed in my hamburger tasted about the same kind of burger I can get at a fast food restaurant. Cashier was not fully aware of the menu even though I ordered a bacon cheeseburger she still asked me if I wanted cheese. Quality of the food is a little bit less than I would have expected and quantity as well. Always has been a nice atmosphere however and still is.
Had the chopped steak dinner and it was the best that I have ever had with the grilled onions and mushrooms, baked potato and salad bar BUT customer service was not good, she wasn't friendly at all, didn't greet you and just asked, "what are you having?"

The place was nice and clean, good staff but the burger patties were so thin you could hardly see them. I would rather have a real Texas burgers.
All I got to say is best food in the BCS area for sure! Best burgers, best phillys, best chicken fried steak the whole menu is good. Don’t pass up on the desserts either!
We had excellent burgers and good service. It’s simple nothing fancy food in a sort of out of the way location.
