Very disappointing experience! Service was slow even though there weren't a whole lot of people there when we went. The homemade chips were over cooked, the margarita was bitter, the Clinton Dirty Dog was nothing to write home about, and the BLT Dog was hard to chew and the flavor wasn't very good. I love the concept and theme for the restaurant and the menu, but the food was as disappointing as an evening out with Bill.
I love the concept of this place. The menus are very funny to read. However, there are a few things going against it. First, there was such a loud humming from the electrical system that we had end up eating outside because the noise was very distracting. I don’t know if it’s that way all the time but when I mentioned it to the waitress she didn’t seem to think it was unusual. Second, the prices are pretty expensive for what you get. Third, when we have cheddar cheese on our hotdogs like actual shredded cheese, not sauce. Some of the items are described as having Cheddar cheese sauce while others just list cheddar cheese. One of the items we ordered had just cheddar cheese listed but it came with cheddar cheese sauce. When we asked our waitress about it she said they all come with the sauce. She doesn’t know why some say sauce and some just straight cheddar cheese. I really wanted to like this place, but I’m honestly not sure if I’ll be back.
Great atmosphere, service, and drinks. Bartenders are amazing and take care of you! Never disappointed when I come here!!
Hot dogs where not very fresh when they came out chili and cheese we’re still cold and hot dogs are way overpriced! Paid $15 for cold not fresh hot dog….
Love the atmosphere. Laid back. Great mixed drinks. Friendly service. Would love if they offered Spanish music but enjoy it none the less.
Service and drinks were on point. Atmosphere was chill AF only issue was the cheese curds. The amount given was not adequate to the about you pay for an appetizer. Ten bucks for a few chopped up Mozzarella sticks is what it looked like. Dark way over cooked batter. But FR we had a great time and the service was phenomenal
Unfortunately I never got an opportunity to try the food or experience the service. I was parking and saw a woman take a tiny dog inside. The young lady who was working behind the bar took the dog from her and walked the dog to the back. Then she returned to the front with the dog and handed it back to the woman. Without even washing her hands she started passing out food to the patrons and making drinks. Im sorry but that's disgusting and I won't be visiting this establishment again
The Angry Elephant is really close to my house, so I decided to stop in to see how the food was here. First impression - laid back and cozy! I asked the bartender what the house favorites were and he recommended the hot dogs, specifically the The Ben Franklin Philly Cheese-Steak Dog! I must say - "WOW"! This dog was incredible! The combo really complimented each other, especially with the home cut potato chips! I went with the half pound, but it was so big that I think the quarter pound would have been enough. I'll certainly be back to try out other menu items, and the full bar!
Stopped in Friday night while in town To go to Santas Wonderland. First, of course, those homemade chips. I wanted to order like 10 orders to go. Seriously I miss them already. The service was amazing as well. It got pretty busy being Friday night but my drink never got empty and the drinks were fantastic. Can’t recommend it enough! Will definitely stop in again next time I’m in town
Best fries and hot dog I've had in a long time. Clean, calm and friendly. Will def be back. I would be comfortable taking my 8 & 12 yr old here, their menu was simple and straight forward bar food and snacks. Well priced.
