Great taste! Authentic home style Mexican food?

This is a very authentic Mexican food restaurant. I ordered the carne asada.. The portions were quite generous, and the taste of my food was wonderful. I would only change the texture of my meat, it could have used a little tenderizing. Still, I will go back there in a heartbeat!
Very disappointed at the management. Staff were literally running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Waited there for 30 mins before getting acknowledged. There was 2 other tables that got served before us and had barely arrived. Nevermind that we were sitting right at front and they would just pass by. I only go there because they sell beer before 12 on Sunday's. After this I'm not going back. Went to El Sol Restaurant a minute away and not even a minute there we were brought chips and a menu!
I ordered caldo,very good,broth was flavorful,nice portion of meat even the corncob was sweet!Comida muy Rica! I saw people order menudo looked good! Think I will go back definitely recommend!
Birria Tacos awful. The consomme was chalky and bland.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HEREFor starters when we got our chips we asked the girl to bring us a spicier salsa, she said very rudely and with an attitude "I speak English" didn't bring back salsa. Later we asked for salt well, someone thought it would be a good idea to send a little girl to bring us the salt shaker... no problem. kind of cute, right?. The problem was the little girl was picking her nose the entire time she was walking to our table! When we received our food,the rice was dry and hard in some places like they left it out all day, didn't have any flavor whatsoever. I also asked for a small side of guacamole, the lime was overwhelming just UNEDIBLE, I told our waitress so she could take it away and this girl just stares at me and says "okay" and walks away. I have never been to a restaurant where the customer service was this lousy. The staff was rude and lazy, it's very sad I'm sure it's not what the owner envisioned for his business. You'd think they would be more dedicated to their family's restaurant
Not an overall great experience, the carne asada had a great taste but it was paper thin
They’re food is very good! But they have BAD service, we waited 15mins to get our order, but the waiter kept on ignoring us‼️ She was really slow, over all I have been coming here since I was little but this time was the worst experience I’ve had here‼️
I ordered a pastor taco on flour and a beef fajita burritoMust say best pastor in Brazos. Besides a slight overload of onion it was perfectWife's torta was well put together along with delicious ? I recommend a visit here if your looking for authentic Mexican plates!
