We used to love coming here. The food was good and worth the wait. However, the food quality has steadily gone down with each visit. The last time I was there, I noticed that they're giving a discount for every customer that shows the staff a 5 star review. Not sure if the dwindling quality and attempted bribery are related. ?I'll still give the place one more chance before I leave Bryan/Cstat for good. Hopefully, it'll be as good as it used to be and I can update this review to a higher rating. Not for the discount though.Edit after owner reply: I did take time to leave a higher review in the past back when it was better. If you look at my review history, you'll see how often I do so when the experience calls for it. I deleted it to leave this updated one about the quality going down and it wasn't during graduation.
Spicy Amanda is delicious. Blueberry Mash is refreshing for the hot Texas summers. Try the yuca and plantains, they are different.
Great experience overall! I wouldn't come back just for the food necessarily but I might come back for the atmosphere + food combo. The vibes of the place were just all around fun!The yuppy fries were pretty great! And the burger was decent, nothing incredible but everything was fresh and the flavors were awesome together. The Arnold Palmer ice cream martini was super fun to try as well!
This place is awesome, staff is very friendly. I got the classic burger and it was delicious. 10/10 recommend.
If you love trying new things come down to this joint here it has all types of taco's you can think of I loved every bite and so did the wife! I didn't know how I would feel about trying taco's other than the Mexican way but man was I Wrong ! All the ingredients complimented one another and balanced out so well and the Waiter we had was super cool was on top of everything and made us feel welcomed on are first visit. Go check out Proudest Monkey you and the family will love it! Keep up the good work guy's!!???????
Great place, great service. Food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the firehouse burger with a whiskey smash (change the whiskey for a bulleit rye and ask them to smash blueberries in there… you’ll thank me later)
Can't go wrong with their yuppie fries. The monkey sauce is bomb.

Great place to eat, the music, food and atmosphere is something you really can't beat. I got the Willie Norris burger and it was to die for. Would definitely come here again and recommend it as well.
I love this restaurant! Anytime I come to downtown Bryan I suggest this place. The dirty sweet potato fries are to die for!! I tried the Blueberry Mash and Salted Caramel Ice Cream Martini and they were both great! Even though the place is packed on First Friday, our service was attentive and sweet.
