Papa Perez has a great location and a nice space. People say it's good but I've been there twice and am not impressed. Chips are good but the salsa is weak. Fajitas seen overly marinated and the enchiladas lack flavor. Charo Breanna are just OK. Something seemed not quite right about the barbacoa. So many better places, but one upside is that they have a full bar.

Nice Mexican restaurant to enjoy a limited amount of food items. I suggest trying the fried Avocado. The drinks were good and worth the price. I attended a drag brunch and had a great time. I suggest you try the drag brunch and show your support. You have to make reservations on their Facebook page for Cora's Drag Brunch. It's normally held on a Sunday either at 12 noon or 2:30pm. Make sure to bring some dollar bills to tip the drag queens. Overall a a nice restaurant to enjoy Mexican and cocktails. Service was good as they were very busy. Recommended for eating solo or with family and friends. Parking is limited.

This place is very friendly and the service is great. The food that I had was very mild, which is fine if that’s your thingSalsa very mild. Chips not stale but served cold. Chips should be served warm, thin, crispy. My go to is cheese enchiladas with rice and refried beans. Very disappointed to encounter enchiladas filled with unseasoned velveta and covered with a mild gravy and more velveta That’s just wrong on many levels. My companion had the fish tacos and enjoyed them.I suspect there are items on the menu that are really good and maybe I will discover them another time.

Not family friendly. I waited in a very long line just like everyone else and as soon as I approached the hostess stand with two toddlers in tow (strollers aren’t allowed in the restaurant) I was ushered to the bar for a to go order. I was ignored by two employees and I was the only person at the bar. When I stopped the young lady walking by who was behind the bar I was rudely told sorry we’re not taking to go orders tonight. When I asked her was she sure because the hostess told me to go to the bar and order, she asked another man who said I think so. When I asked her could she take my order she said no ma’am, I have drinks to make. I went back to the hostess stand and a different employee was there and a man shouted from the other side of the restaurant, tell her she has to wait. The other lady then said ma’am we just opened 8 minutes ago and everybody wants to order. I was done at that point. Took my girls and went across the street to 3rd on Main who was very accommodating and family friendly. They spoke to me with respect, acknowledged my girls in tow and took care of me very quickly.

Hands down the best locally owned Mexican restaurant. Was there for a Sunday brunch recently and the food was hot, fresh and tasty-the owners were even personally serving. You cannot beat the service provided!

I give these guys 5 stars because they earned every bit of it. Not only was the food delicious the staff was great as well very polite and patient and for a parent with little kids that helps out alot. Definitely recommend this spot if your in the area if not put it in your calendar as a must visit when in the area.

Frequent this place often. Good food, service and priced right. If you're not a local I would definitely recommend. If you are a local...you already know.

Excellent lunch specials that includes tea with the price! Quality service. Only con is that they are closed on Mondays.

The lunch menu is so affordable! The food is good and the owners are top notch!!

Always a wonderful dinning experience with delicious food and great service. I would definitely recommend to any that has not try Papa Perez to do so!
