Each time we enter the IHOP in Bryan, TX they are too busy to seat us. I understand times have changed, but low staffing at this sight appears to be the problem. Even though open until midnight, we arrived at 10 and were not even greeted. They had maybe 3 tables of customers. My husband walked over to the waitress to ask to be seated and was told it would be 45 minutes at a minimum to be served. The place was pretty empty. We left. Probably will not return. Waitress had her back to the entrance as well.
We waited 45 mins to be seated and the waitress kept saying she was the only one working and there was only 1 cook too. She would take her time helping everyone. People were walking out left and right without paying because she would take too long. This is the second time this has happened. Why would you be open till midnight and the whole restaurant is full and you only have 1 waitress and one cook. I enjoy the food but I did not enjoy the attitude, the waiting and the faces the people waiting were all making. The atmosphere was horrible. Everyone was waiting 2 hours to get their food and would just walk out. Definitely would recommend not going here at 7pm
Had breakfast here with my wife this morning and had a good time! Service was prompt and friendly (shoutout to Sharon!) and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the hollandaise sauce on my spinach and mushroom omelette, and my wife’s strawberry pancakes hit the spot. Great value for a hearty meal.
The reason I give this place a one star was to do with the staff there. The waiter we got was amazing he took our order and did a great job. But on of the managers there I believe her name was Bridget she was very rude and unprofessional, not to us but her staff. She made a big scene there about one of her coworkers bumping Into her and literally the whole restaurant went quiet. She was cussing and being very loud, disrespecting her coworkers and it was just very unprofessional. And after the whole incident she continued to yell at other staff members to bring her certain item and to hurry up when you can tell they were doing their best. This all happened on 2/20/22 late at night so hopefully the staff gets treated better.
Great breakfast and great service. Don't go here expecting the world and you'll be just fine.
We were seated right away. Service was slow and I had to ask for almost everything. Salt Pepper sweet n low and ketchup. Food was delicious and I was told the reason why no condiments was they were in the process of cleaning them. We had to ask for them separately.
I never caught our servers name, but she had glasses, was taller, and kind of had reddish hair. She was super sweet and welcoming! She made sure my party and I were comfortable, whilst giving us great food!
All the other reviews speak for them selfs. I'll expect better if I go back. I could have spent 80 bucks at cracker barrel, but chose to eat at I Hop. I should have ate at Cracker Barrel instead.
Place sucks the one waitress was late and the other is slow the cook is very slow the chicken takes like oil grease and the cook is on her phone like the waitresses today it’s 530 pm
Food was alright. The cheesecake pancakes just taste like normal pancakes but the burger was good (even with the random dent). It was a pretty slow day. The waitress never came to check on us while we were eating which was weird but she did give us drinks to go which was nice. I wouldn’t go here again but it wasn’t a bad place.
