Good evenimg,But me and my husband bought a 2 meat plate tonight and it was horrible. The brisket was so tuff we couldn't eat it. We have bought barbecue from you'll and have never experienced this. I don't k know what you'll are doing different but I am very disappointed in your food.Audrey Gomez
C&J BBQ was good but not as good as it’s been in the past. I can’t really put my finger around it but maybe more commercial. The glory days of eating at C&J back in college, it felt more authentic. I don’t know. I got the double meat plate with chicken and brisket with Mac n cheese and potato salad. I really liked the jalapeño poppers. They are opening a new location so I don’t know.
The brisket and sausage are our go-to meats. We always love the potato salad and cole slaw too. Great food every time!
I would highly recommend C & J Barbeque! We had our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner there! The food was cooked perfectly! All of our guests committed on how delicious everything was. Not one negative thing said about the food or anything else. Many went back for seconds! The cobblers were absolutely delicious! A perfect dessert to go along with the dinner! Everything was clean and the staff took great care in seeing that they served and put out everything for the dinner in a careful manner, making sure everything was clean and sterile for our guests. The staff was excellent! Very accommodating to everyone’s wishes! We needed some extra food and they got it, we asked for the drinks to be placed in an ice tub so guests could serve themselves. They got it! There were specific wishes by the guests and it was all taken care of!The bonus was they were all so kind and sweet! They did everything with smiles on their faces! We had a perfect dinner for our special couple, thanks to C & J Barbeque.
Food is awesome we celebrated my husband birthday and retirement. The service was great and the food was delicious. The young lady Erron was so sweet and helpful.
We had our family Christmas reunion in the banquet room and it was great. Food was very good, staff made sure our needs were met . We are so pleased with the space and service we hope to do it there next year.
Disgusting! Worst ever! My girlfriend went to pick up 2 lbs of brisket. What they gave us was 2lbs of fat. Completely uncalled for and disrespectful. Awful people plus this is more like oven cooked rather then real bbq
Lots of space to spread out. I enjoyed the pork chops and then fried okra. C&Js has been a consistent good place to eat for the past 20 years.
Sampled several BBQ places in Austin, this shop in Bryan is my tops! Great brisket, pork, chicken , turkey, and bbq sauce.
With multiple locations, you get the quality you'd expect. Not bad, but not worth all the hype around town. Would prefer if they had a mustard potato salad, but their mayonnaise one is still pretty decent. The ranch potatoes are fine, but not something I'd order often. The prices are reasonable and the quality and taste is fine. I would go back, but wouldn't put this in my top BBQ spots. Yes, decent enough for this area, but better is out there.
