One car in front of me in the drive-through took 25 minutes to get my order I always order ketchup mustard and cheese only on my burger and this is what I got seems like there is no customer service at this Whataburger no thank you sir no would you like any condiments or nothing yeah I’ll get your stuff right
(Update 3/27/2022) 8:30 pm guy taking my order was rude and gave me the wrong drink and burger was made sloppily.UPDATE (09/11/2020): I just ordered (delivery) Whataburger meals for my children and myself; the burgers were made exactly how I asked for and food was surprisingly warm. Satisfied with our dinner.(08/2019) I ordered 4 meals online for my kids and myself thinking it would be much faster. Big Mistake! I ordered at 9:27 pm and it said there that it would be ready between 9:35 to 9:40 pm. It was handed to me at 10 or so. The fries were in put in the bag while burgers were making which became cold. I asked to speak to the manager. Manager just looked at me with his eyes widened and said it was his fault that he was making other orders. I asked if it would be better just to order at the store instead of online. He just kept saying sorry, looking at me in a way hoping for me just to accept it and leave. In no way did he try to make things better. I've had other stores where they offer you a free dessert or meal anything to make the customer leave happy. This manager seemed very inexperienced and had no concerns for the customers' satisfaction. My chicken burger was not fully cooked, had a tough texture to it and overall my chicken burger was made sloppy. My kids enjoyed their plain burger and cold fries and shakes. I was disappointed with my food, the way the manager handled things, and because it took forever to hand me our food.
I'm 63 now, and Whataburger has always been a "must go" for me whenever I return to visit family and friends in the RGV. I remember going to the original joint at the corner of Boca Chica and Palm Blvds in Brownsville when I was a kid in the 1960s (and then going to the Charro Drive-In with a trunk-full of amigos...) So the place is engrained in my culinary soul.But after this year's visit, I concluded that I was either less discriminating about burgers and fries when I was young, or more hungry, or both. Don't get me wrong~ I had a jalapeño burger and large fries this time, and they were respectable. They just weren't "Wow" in any way. Large patty, slightly greasy, with iceberg lettuce, undistinguished tomato and pickle slices and a few jalapeños, all inside a too-soft, slightly sweet white-flour bun.The average sober home BBQer could do a lot better on the grill in the backyard, using only decent store-bought ingredients. Also, I understand the chain has been bought by a Chicago corporation, so there's no longer any local sensibility or accountability about the food.I suppose everything changes, just not always for the better...
This restaurant is not even equivalent to one star. I arrived at the store at 10:20 PM, shortly after a BISD bus pulls up and they decide to close the doors and cater specifically for BISD. This is very unethical to have a business show favoritism for a corrupted school district.
No problems with the orders, food is great, just tends to take longer than expected to get it.
worst customer service ever the lady had to come back 3 times because she forgot everything in my order then she gives me my change and it’s $20 short it isn’t the first time i’ve come here and they did the exact same thing trying to take $20 from me.

Whataburger is the best I love it I guess what I'm going to be released reviewing from now on on Whataburgers is just the quality of the food and the service other than that I freaking love Whataburger
