I've always loved Tropical Smoothie Café. The smoothies have such great flavor. But my problem with this specific one is that thwir smoothies are never blended well. They're always chunky and sometimes even have big clumps of ice at the bottom. I don't know if it's because they don't have a high powered blender or if they're just in a hurry. But for the sake of quality, they shouldn't rush. My last order had two whole dates inside.

This tropical smoothie place is the pits the people working are playing around they don't take their job seriously....18 minutes to get 2 smoothies...on the drive thru lane...drive thru should be for faster and quicker service...come on...I suggest the owner looks at the entire staff..and a new manager an hire people that are about customer service...that actually need a job..to top ot off the smoothie where wrong...I didn't bother so I just left....I don't recommend this tropical to anyone...spend your money else where
Love their detox smoothie, always blended so well, never chunky! I come here for one pretty often. Their salads are always well seved.
I placed my order through the drive thru. Pulled up to the window. Waited for at least 10 minutes. The worker opened the window and shes like how my i help you. I told her I just placed my order back there. And she’s like what was your order and I had to repeat myself. Really bad service and it was my first time going
Really Good Smoothies. I had the Chia Bannana Boost with peanut butter and Strawberries. And a Chicken Bacon Ranch on flat bread, it was a good meal. Good friendly service. In total it cost 12 and some change.Overall, I would come back. I would recommend this place.
It would have been fine except I ordered chicken bacon ranch flatbread and there were no tomatoes!! If they’d have told me they were out I would have ordered something else! Disappointing.
While I've been to many of the other locations in the RGV and this one in the past, I have been having a few issues with this location in the past few weeks. Lately when I ask for fruit as a side they'll give me unripe fruit (yes both apples and bananas) and tell me that's all they have, and they're constantly having issues with their point system. I love tropical but this location needs a bit of fine-tuning.
I finally got a chance to come into the cafe after only ordering online and I love the atmosphere and service is amazing!!!
