It's not the best, but what can you expect for one of the only places open till 3am. Tripas were passable & lemonade was good. Customer service was really good.

A lot of 5 star AND 1 star reviews? Truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Menu is in Spanish only, no English. There was something floating in my water (looked like a piece of cilantro). Mexican sandwich was decent. Some of the meat was a like fatty. This is not TexMex, folks. No tortilla chips, no rice. If you’re looking for the authentic Mexican food experience, you’ll probably like it.

Guy walks into a taco place, and ordered a lemonade find that it comes with protein. Sends it back, would rather have it with out protein… Comes back with smaller protein…. (Protein aka roach) Went to go pay, asked waitress if I’m getting charged for protein lemonade …. Waitress reply’s with “ yes but we are only charging your for one”…. SMH fml omg no F’ing way! Only in the valley!

We are from Houston but everytime we visit Brownsville Taco Loco is a must great food great service and the lemonade is off the chain.

When you fine a cockroach in your food only to have to ask them to take it back and find that there is a different cockroach in your new food says something. What’s worse is that it’s the owners policy “ We still have to charge your for that roach”. I’m not even joking. Table didn’t make a big fuss, but one of the cooks walks out and gives us a dirty look only for him to walk pass by us, take off his mask and throw it inside the room that says private. Now for a little bit about the food. The quality of this place has gone down hill. Food taste bad compared pre-COVID. The prices have doubled. Use to take friends here to eat. Cost me 12.50 for 2. Including 2 Mexican cokes. Now it’s 24.95 for the same order. So if you want bad looks. German cockroaches, or pay more this is the place to go.

Tortas mexicanas I know it was lateBUT..... avocado was not in slices- leftoversTorta cut in half all the way made a mess hands and table it seemed like west tx food all mix together no presentation just scoopedWhat they call (burritos)WEST TX. it was nasty in my experience never again I wanted my money back but I know everyone has families to support if people love this place by all means enjoy JUST NOT ME ......

An authentic place for Mexican food in the community. Would highly recommend to try. Reasonable price, clean place and excellent quality food. Please overall with everything.

This place a hidden gem, but recently the quality has decreased. The last time I went the meat wasn’t seasoned enough. This was a one time thing though. I always recommend this place to everyone I meet!

very good and simple menu...but when I complimented the chef, his attitude was not Courteous

The inside dining area is tiny and it is loud at times but it is a quaint restaurant and well worth waiting to get a table. They also have takeout available. The food is tastes great! The price for the food is a bargain. The charro beans are some of the best I have eaten. The tacos are tiny but pack a big flavor explosion and the price is tiny too. The meats are all well seasoned and tender. They are open until 1 a.m. on the weekdays and open until 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
