Spanky’s offers two vegetarian burgers but apparently none of the staff there knows if either option is vegan. This means 1) their patties aren’t made fresh in-house because then they would know what was in them! & 2) their staff was literally too lazy to walk back in the kitchen and pull the pre-bought pack of veggie burgers out of the freezer to check the ingredients for me. I try to support local restaurants but this one is a big NO for me based off of service alone.
I ordered the half order of Fajita nachos and they were delicious. They have beans, shredded melted cheese, chopped up lettuce and tomatoes , slices of avocado and jalapeños. The fajita meat was tasty, the lettuce/tomatoes were fresh and they were not stingy with the slices of avocados which made it super yummy because I dislike getting to my bottom nachos and I've ran out of avocado or meat. The staff was friendly even though it was almost closing time. Next time, I'll try a burger and update.
Been around for about 20 years. Mostly burgers, but also some Mexican dishes. Each order is made fresh, so not fast food. Very tasty burgers, and depending on the menu item, is served on bun or texas toast. Would gladly eat here again.
Delicious usually we go to the same restaurant and for once we decided to do diffrent.Usually i check the reviews and most of them were complementing the few that were bad were not red flags. The cajun burger was hella good spicy and needed to be eaten slowly unless you want to burn your mouth 10/10 The chicken burger was good less crust more chicken the classic burger was also great i loved the cheese enchiladas and tacos the fried shrimp was more shrimp than crust didnt taste like the basic flour crust will be visiting again
Great customer and great food. Every time I go, the staff is really friendly and the food is always a hit. I as well had my birthday dinner in their back patio and it was an awesome experience. 5 stars for spankys.
Great burgers, great service, but how in the world are you gonna charge my mom for water? There’s plenty to go around… Tell me when you get some plastic cups for water and you’ll get a five star rating!
Great tasting food. The bison burger was delicious. Ordered by phone and pick it up through their drive thru. Customer service was great!

This place is overrated. Honestly, people just don’t want to admit it. They were going to charge me $18 for just a couple of add ons. So I settled for another burger- I should’ve gone to Stars burgers. But everyone likes to hang out here and post it on social media. Reality is- they really don’t have good customer service. The chicken is something you microwave and you can buy at H‑E‑B. They have the arrogance to over charge for their average food.
After 26 minutes of waiting I had to go upfront and cashier about our food. People we were with received their food in 10 minutes and were finished eating by the time ours arrived at the table.
