They're way better than Rudy's. . .and compete with other local BBQ places. I think they have the best BBQ so far in Brownsville.
Hands down, the best BBQ Brisket I've ever had.
Stopped by while working in Brownsville. Brisket and Chicken were perfect. Also check out the cowboy beans. Great work! I'll definitely return if ever in the area again.
Gave this bbq place another chance. Asked for 1lb of moist brisket expecting nice slices. Instead I got 2 huge thick slices of brisket. No one cuts brisket like that. Brisket was not even moist. Don’t call yourself best bbq in town if you’re gonna serve brisket like that.
Need to try might get another burger after shopping before I leave the mall. The Yee haw burger hit the spot next burger will be the Muncher Burger if not today soon. The side to get are the beans.
Food was absolutely delicious... ordered the moist brisket and was not disappointed at all. Definitely recommend this place and it's conveniently at the Food Court in Sunrise Mall
I realize a lot of people like this place. I ordered a sandwich from the food court at the mall and it was BY FAR the worst bbq sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. It was so bad that I couldn’t even finish it. I just threw it away and had to get something else. Maybe it was an off day, but the meat was really under seasoned. I didn’t read the whole sandwich description because never in a million years did I expect a bbq sandwich to be covered in cheese. The cheese made zero sense and was just an unpleasant experience. The meat was cold and so was the cheese. I’m sorry for bashing it so hard, but I really can’t believe how terrible this sandwich was. I also ordered the beans, and those were actually pretty good and I would order those again on their own. Other than that, I went there on a Saturday at noon. There was no one in line to get food while almost all other places were packed. It's obvious I'm not the only one who's had this experience. A good bbq place at the mall would be awesome. Please get it together because that sandwich was terrible and I basically wasted $15 on a meal I had to throw away.
It was very good, they are moving to Sunrise Mall food court in Nov. I will follow them there.
